...will your sleep in a bed with you? Just curious. We are not co-sleepers but there is no way that Elle would go to sleep in a bed with one of us. If we even lie down with her she gets so furious.
I keep hearing people saying that their babies like to sleep in their parents bed and wonder if Elle will also get to that stage. TBH, I'd quite like it if she wanted to on occassion, esp for a nap or something. I love the thought of lying down for a cuddle and a sleep :) Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I think it just depends on the baby. Lesieli (miss 12) always sleeped with her nana from day one till she was 5yrs and Mercedes (miss 6) would snuggle up and nap with me when she was a bubba but Alize is like Elle, he hates me trying to lay down with him unless he is on the breast. I cant get him to even sleep in my bed he is a real "i need my space boy"
NEVER FEAR THO...... as they get older and more knowing (maybe 3yr cant remember the age) they will eventually like the odd snuggle up in bed so she will eventually snuggle up with you

I figured it must be a temperament thing as my girl is the ultimate Miss Independence. :) Even complete strangers have started saying "she looks such such an independent madam" Teehee....too right! It'll be a great quality when she is older. Can't wait for snuggles...they are slowly creeping in.

Ella won't sleep in the bed with us- whenever I drag her into bed when she wakes up early all she wants to do is play with her feet and poke us in the face
when she was a newborn she slept on our bed a couple of times- mainly when she was growing a growth spurt and wouldn't stop eating.

Elle was in bed with us for a while as a newborn...she was a mega cluster feeder in hosp so the nurses put her in bed with me and it took a while to get her into her own bed. Amazing how things change!

We never had Gina sleep with us - I've always been afraid we'd squash her

Alyssa sleeps with me after her first feed in the morning because she usually wakes about 5.30am and DH is out of bed by then. He hates her in our bed because he's worried he might squash her.
Natasha slept with us heaps when she was a baby, she was always sick with Asthma etc so I liked having her close. She would actually sleep on my shoulder away from DH. She hasn't jumped into bed with us again since she was about 4. And then there is Alex she'd still sleep with us if we let her but she's nearly adult size and takes up too much room. But she's lovely and warm so nice to snuggle with in winter.

When our third baby was born, our second started coming to our bed at night. We just let him as we knew that it was just him needing to feel secure since the arrival of a new baby. This is the first time he has ever slept with us.
Our third sleeps next to us in his hammock until he wakes for his 2am feed and then stays with me until we get up at around 6.30am as he likes to cluster feed. I have a side barrier on the bed to keep in safe and he sleeps between me and the barrier.
I love it when they all pile in in the mornings for a cuddle - except my 11 year is far too big for this now.

Caleb would sleep with us but he wants to feed all night long. If he's in his cot he sleeps right through. On the weekends I often get him up at 6am, feed him and bed and put him between us and he sleeps really well. We used to put him in our bed instead of his cot when he was younger if he was unsettled and he'd sleep much better than in his cot.

Xanda from day 1 would never sleep in a bed with anyone, but then once he moved into a big boys bed, he seems to end up in my bed everynight at some time.

Hannah will snuggle up with us but I'd rather she didn't. Kicking in the stomach wasn't fun when she was 1, definitely less than pleasant now she is 3 and has gangly limbs. And her thumb sucking is SO LOUD!!! ARGH.
Be careful what you wish for

Yeah Spencer will, we did a lot of co-sleeping the first few weeks so I don't know if that made a difference and then until recently if he woke at night and it wasn't hunger I would put him in bed with me, he will always sleep for far longer snuggled up to me or DH, trouble is we don't sleep too good cos of paranoia of crushing him. Sometimes if he is unsettled during the day I will snuggle up on the sofa with him and he will sleep while I watch Oprah or some other crappy daytime tv.
I quite like cuddling up to sleep and especially when he was newborn, just seemed like the natural thing to do.

We coslept for a while with Caprece but shes not so keen on sleeping with us now and I don't really have the time to lie down and cuddle her to sleep or Jack will destroy everything.
We never really co slept with Jack but I had this stage where I really wanted him to at around 8 months but he was so not keen lol He would sleep with us at night but not as well as if he was in his bed.
Very recently (since he went down to one day sleep) hes started falling alseep all over the place and has fallen asleep on me a couple of times but again I can't leave him on me because I have a baby to look after

Rhyley won't sleep with us. He thinks its time to play if hes been sick and I put him in with us - to get some sleep it never happens. even afternoon sleeps he won't, very much a wanna sleep leave me alone child
As for Josh he slept with me basically from day one (although always started off in his own bed) Brooke went thru stages and normally came in bed when she had her morning bottle (6.30am) and then sleep in my bed till around 8am. She will still if she is sick hop in bed with us (although I end up being the one that gets no sleep squashed between Dh and her)

We co slept all the time up until recently when Char is sleeping through in her own bed. Feet, hands and head in faces.....hmmmm.....we are all sleeping so much better now she is in her own bed. She still comes in for 'cuggles' (as she calls them) each morning tho and its really nice.

if jack wakes too early in the morning for me and charli is still asleep, i'll put him in our bed and flick the tv on. he snuggles up with me and watches the tv but he is really wriggly
charli.....no way, she's the ultimate wriggler and won't stay still for 5mins
