How absurd ...the husband is even more pathetic than I thought - he is willing to work things out with her DESPITE her publicly humiliating him on television. I got the impression that she definitely wore the pants in that relationship.
I hate the word SKANK but to be honest, I don't think that word is even strong enough to describe her.

We were also talking about this whilst it was on, and wondered a couple of things.
Were here and hubby having problems, did he already know and they see this as a way to cash in on their rock marriage - think of the cash they could have won, and then all the interviews and stories it would have generated. Yes she had been polygraphed for a range of questions, but maybe she was hoping that the nitty gritty ones were so few that she would avoid them. Could she have opted out after the polygraph, once knowing the questions or is that a firm committal
Anyway thats what we talked about during the show.

Yeah I thought that too, maybe their huge 2 year marriage was already over and they just wanted to get some cash or fame out of it.
I didn't know how I felt about this show but last night I realised it is in a very similar vein to Jerry Springer. A pretty heartless theme for a gameshow.
But then again people are dumb enough to go on it.

Prior to appearing on the show, each contestant is asked a series of questions (about 50 or so) while hooked up to a polygraph machine. Whatever the results were of those questions are used as the answer to the questions they are asked on the night.
They pick just some of the questions for the show. So ultimately each person knows exactly what questions will be asked on the night and if they know they were asked a question where it's likely they failed the polygraph there is therefore no point lying on the night.

I thought it was sooo stupid, we too were sking the questions of, "does he already know these things and they're miling it" or we also said "ha ha, she knew she wanted a divorce and saw this as an easy way to get one... and pay for it too" lol
But man.. sure you do that on TV, how heartless and ick is that and how morally wrong for the producers to actually use the content of those questions for their show.

That interview she did was so weird -- it's like she had been put through some ordeal that was out of her control ?!?!? rather than something she chose to do... and then at the end thanking everyone - like she hasn't even considered the effects of what she's done on everyone else around her - it's all about how SHE feels and is getting through it!!
