Dont put disposable breast pads in the washing machine, they absorb so much water they burst open and the gross crystals get through everything. Hope it all comes out on the second wash

I guess better to be a breast pad than a disposable nappy with heaps more crystals in it!

I haven't done that, but OMG how annoying. Hoepfully it all comes out in the next wash.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I have had the tissues a few times too Clare esp in the girls uniform wash when they havent emptied their pockets properly

Done that too! Glad that it all came out. Another disposable breast pad story, on the weekend put togs on, disposables in (brain on automatic) and jumped in the pool ... oh dear

Ah, we've done the nappy here.  Took a fair few rinses to get the crystals all out!  Especially since they'd dried on the clothes on the line already - oh dear!

Im forever 4getting to check my pockets for bobby pins before i put them in the wash. doesnt make a mess but they get stuck in the bottom and the machine stops rinsing properly! Drives DH insane ,im getting better tho!!

I have done the pool thing!! Then left them on the side of the pool and it rained!! Took DH a few minutes to work out what these crystals were on the side of the pool
