i've just had the insert it came with in it..a swaddlebee microfibre one. i'll give it a few more goes as i like the trimness of it. have just won a fuzzi on trademe! yay! i'm getting some mediums from a store in chch in 3wks but thought i'd try a small in the meantime

swaddlebbes arent recommended for heavy wetters because of their trimness but i found mine lasted almost twice as long with a fuzzi doubler added...

re doubling...rather than use another one...there is a way of folding them that mum shows me (OMG i need to practice!!!) the doubles the inside...an old nursing trick she had from years of midwifery and in NICU etc....the nappy is really thick that way...and we are still going to use a liner on it too...

charli's not really a heavy wetter, she has no probs with her peapod or prefold/cover. i'll see if it gets better with more use and try it with another insert. i have some hemp on order so hopefully they'll arrive soon
