is there anything to do with bubs that doesnt cost the earth......was going to go to jumping beans as that sounds like wat he would enjoy but ....cant afford that.......i live in Ngaruawahia and travel to Te Awamutu 2s a week.......there is nothing to do :(
Playgroups/playcentres don't cost very much. The playgroup in Gordonton is $2 a time and runs for 2 1/2 hours 2x a week.
The Chartwell library runs a 'thing' (don't know what it's called lol) on a Wed morning and I'm pretty sure that's free.
I've been to Rangiwahia, isn't there just a river there? You could bundle up and go for nature walks, or maybe join some puzzle/toy library in town so that you can have more stuff at home. Also grab a book a week for yourself from the library!
sorry busymum i have no idea where Rangiwahia is :) i do alot of walking but i live in little town so the libruary has nothing on and they diffently have no puzzles...........we have all that stuff here anyway..........it needs to be something VERY active as my boy wont sit still for even a sec your lucky if you get half a book read to him. may give chartwll libruary a call and see what they have.........he swims already .......... i cant put him with other kids without me standing guard as he is too rough and that is the problem i have.........he luvs kids but insists on pulling and i mean really pulling hair.....he does it as i cuddle time thing. thanks for your help i think i have some phoning to do on monday :)
Rangiwahia is several hours from Ngaruwahia so I don't think you want to go there. The last I checked it was about 1 hour into the hill country from Palmerston North. It's tiny.
Trying to think how far you are from Hamilton. It's not too far is it? Can you afford the trips in on a regular basis.
