side.

I am at my wits end....

Rhiannon is sleeping well through the day, 3 naps a day...has her last bottle at 6.30pm because she is so tired...then she gets her second wind after the bottle and she wont go down...leads to us having an extremely overtired baby...who at present is screaming her head off in her cot..but wont go to sleep

I dont know what to do

I know by saying its just a phase wont help but it will pass. In the mean time though, how long does she sleep during the day? Is there anyway to shorten her sleeps or something so she is more tired at night? Otherwise Im not sure what you could do sorry but i do sympathsis

Have you tried bathing her just before bed? We've done that with Aston right from being born and he goes to bed no sweat everynight now.It helps calm them and then know after that its bottle then sleep time. tonight Aston cried for about 10mins which he usually does'nt do that, but I left him and he just dropped off.Goodluck!!

she woke up 4 times last night....not sure what im doing wrong, but it has to be something.

yeah that sounds like something might be up rather than new routine. Addison was a bit like that last week and then a tooth popped through so maybe its the same for Rhiannon

Hey Kazzle,
I have been going through a bit of this myself recently, it throws me for a loop as I am totally used to my night time routine! The basis of Olivia's I am afraid to say is wind and teething. Last night I got her up (she had cried herself to sleep after 10 mins then woke up 25 mins later - going psycho) and winded her again, fed her some more then gave her bonjela and pamol and put her back to bed. Pretty much re-doing her whole night time routine (with the added extra of drugs). She bukuk'd again an hour later but settled pretty quickly. Olivia has been teething solidly for the last 2 months and it is unfortunate to say but all she really wants on the UBER sore days is huggles forever. I'm a mean mummy and draw the line at the point where I am just SO shagged and have to go to bed myself.
Hope it gets better hun

P.S Olivia is teething very subtly at the moment and is just grinding her teeth and gums together, she has no red cheeks... And I think she is growth spurting as well

I was going to say the same as everyone else .. could be teeth?

Is there a way you can MAKE yourself sit down during the day (just read a book / TV or whatever) so you are having a rest while she's having a decent sleep, then the night time stuff might be a little easier?

Hope things improve for you soon!
Selina

i am still in my pjs today, and when rhiannon goes down for her mid morning nap, i am going to crawl back into bed and read for a while.

I have already done the housework and prepared dinner so the day is mine to do as i please...and then kent is going to look after her tonight while i finish off my scrapbooking, only got 3 pages to go and thats the last xmas present out of the way.

What time are her naps and how long are they? What time is her usual bed time? I dropped Jacks last sleep around that age. At the time it seemed like he wouldn't be able to last until bed time but he did with an extra snack.

some days she has 2 sleeps other days she has 3 and some days she only has 1

i actually find that if she doesnt have a nap around 3pm then she is up till midnight...

she is asleep at the moment....she has just had a bottle and went to sleep on it which isnt like her...but in saying that i noticed this morning that 2 teeth are trying to come up and she has a touch of hayfever so shes probably not a happy chappy

My girls got their first two teeth at 8 months too but fortunately aren't too bad with teething (until the molars...)

Does she have a cuddly toy or blanket for sleep? It might help the sleep routine and eliminate any separation anxiety (but it doesn't sound primarily that).
