I have a friend with a slightly older bub who has told me the Plunket nurse from our area is great, and I am prepared to take her word on that at least for the first visit, but if it doesn't turn out I will try and arrange all our checkups and things through a GP.

My plunket nurse is great... it's quite funny that she'll be here in a couple of weeks for Josiah's 15mth checkup, then again 3 months later (JP's 18mth check), then again 3 months later (Xavier's 6 week check)!

Hey Kas you are doing a great job and dont let that silly lady make you feel you are not.Brooke been on formula since 3mths old and never ever used to drink the recomended amount.some days we had a max of 600mls....I have always written down what she drinks at each feed from 12pm till 12pm......only recently has she occasionally topped the 1000ml mark.every baby different and will want more some days and less others.but Brooke usually sleeps all night(from 7-7) but sometimes will wake once during night.I dont mind that.my sister decided not to go with plunket but with the maori one(dont know name)and she has found them excellent.they always come to you.do vacinations at home and have given her great support and advice.I always thought that you had to be maori to be with them but you dont
