Is it the fact that the sweet foods are a lot easier to reach for? and I'm not trying to sound rude here but it will probably come out like that. Have you thought that its just being lazy? IE you want convenience foods not just sweet foods.
I am an over eater especially lately cos I am so bored not working and all and can't even look for a job as being 7mths pregnant noone will hire you! I eat all the convenience foods all the time because they are there so does dp. We do find that if there is fruit in the house and there then we will eat it tho.
Muesli bars are a good option, the snack size yoghurts are good as they are portion controlled, I will often cut up fruit and chuck it all together then add nuts and its almost like a dessert. Try also drinking a glass of water when you are craving and see how long the craving actually lasts could be your dehydrated?
