That sucks james. I hate robbers, really, really hate them. I hope you are insured! I would say I hope they get them, but catch rates on robberies like that aren't great.

Hugs!!!!

oh James i HATE HATE HATE robbers to! We got robbed a few years ago and they stole about $5k worth of stuff. Its not so much the stuff they steal that bothered me its the invasion of a private space/place that did.

also make sure you check with local cash converters etc - they usually go straight to those places to get cash for their loot!
I agree the invasion of privacy is much much worse than the actual loss. Good luck with the insurance co.

... yeah if you've reported it to the Police I think they inform Cash Converters of what the stolen goods are, so they know they can't on-sell them should they come in.  That said, a friend of mine found their stolen motorbike helmet for sale there, and they'd not contacted the Police when it came in.  Worth popping in there yourself.

Oh yeah - and BLUUUGGGHHHH that SUX, James!  What blinkin horrible people.  Losers!  Hope you get it all back somehow.

Our next door neighbors got burgled about a week before Xmas, but get this - they haven't actually moved in yet, but the booger-heads stole the HOT WATER CYLINDER (!?!?!?!), copper piping attached to the cylinder, the faucets, light fittings, paint gear (they are repainting the entire place), and the only thing of value was the BBQ so of course that disappeared too. I don't know what gets into some people !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and Lu (sorry they're late) !!
