Yep we went and got one for Isabelle last time she had a cold .. she was finding it hard to breathe at night and was constantly waking up crying.

I went and bought one and that very night she slept through! So I think they rock! (Not the cheapest things though!)
Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)

we've got one too - it didn't help Natalie that much in the past (as it turned out her nasal congestion was allergy related, rather than a normal snotty nose), but it certainly cleared up our noses every time we went into the room! I like how you can easily add oils etc to the water, so can make it even more effective. You have actually reminded me to go put it in her room now, as she has a cold!

I couldn't see why not - although in a closed room it does tend to get quite humid, muggy and rainforest-like so you might want to leave a door open etc (which of course would reduce the effectiveness). I probably wouldn't use anything additional in the water though.

I forgot to say before that we did find it helped with Natalie's eczema, as with a heatpump running in our house, the air gets very dry, so it was good getting some moisture back in the air in her room.
