OMGosh DUNEDIN BF you say?! I mad the HUGE mistake of going in to get ALize some new jammies while we were down there for a holiday and they were the rudest, unhelpful, pack of b---hes I had ever come across. I ended up walking out the door and leaving my stuff on the counter.

I have had the same experience at BF Henderson all so busy talking amongst themselves that they never actually come and help you, I have stood at the counter and waited for ages to pay for something while the finished theyre conversation. always find BC much more helpful and great quick service too.

Man sounds like there is a huge problem with the dunedin branch aye.

Ive never had a problem with them but i knew some one who worked in the riccarton branch and the invercargill ladies were lovely but didnt seem to know some of their products as i ended up advising a couple on bassinets when i was in getting a cot for josh after he grew out of his. I actually keep thinking if i need a job i might try them as it seems like a cool place to work but i will definitely steer clear of Dunedin branch.

One thing I have found is that they don't seem to have a very good system going on at their counters. I've been to heaps of BF branches (porirua, hamilton, albany, wellington city, botany) and often you'll go up and can't really tell where you're supposed to be queueing or sometimes no one serves you! I remember once at Porirua 2 shop assistants just stood behind the counter talking to each other while I stood there waiting to be served for ages! I ended up having to say something and they acted like I was a huge inconvenience.
I have never once had a sales assistant come up and offer to help in a BF store- in comparison BC is always really helpful, friendly and you get served straight away. I always go there first and only go to BF if Babycity doesn't have what I want.

Well if you read my cot post you might be able to tell that I'm fuming with Baby Factory at the moment - they've basically told me to strap my child in to his cot instead of giving me suggestions to fix the problem of his cot being able to be eaten IMHO what a waste of fricken money, and now I'm just going to have to stick him in his portacot if he tries to teeth on the wood again. Grr

wow - I thought it was just me... BF in Porirua are shockers, and it doesnt seem to matter who is working, because it has happened to me time after time over 5 years of going there. they stand and talk to each other, or on the phone, or are working around the shop, never offer to help you and the rudest thing- don't even greet you. Last time I was the only one in the shop for 15 minutes I looked around . Three people working and no one even said Hi to me. BC has been great though. I can't remember a time going there when I havent been greeted and offered help. Maybe its a training /management issue with BF's ??
