I never watched idol but seeing snippets I thought Matt should have won!! He seems like a lovely guy and has a great voice!!

I read a thing about him just recently and it was saying how he met his partner of four years in a bar....now he is 21 now right? what was he doing in a bar at 17????? Shame on you Matt, Shame on you!

oh never Lu! I waited until I was 20 (law changes grrrr), and THEN i had to trudge through the rain to get to a bar. and we had to mix our own drinks - none of your fancy "RTDs"...

Lol! Maybe it was one of those more family type bars - or maybe he is nearly 22, and it is just under 4 years. Anyways, I was so relieved that Matt won! I really disliked Indira - her attitude, her style and her voice, which physically made me ill - pretty much the closest I have come to throwing up this pregnancy was when she performed!
So yay Matt!!!!!!!
How nice is it though that they had a pact and so Indira will get some of the money he won. I thought that was awesome they agreed on that when they got to the top 2.

i was glad matt won i think unlike indira he can adapt his voice more
hope he manages to stick around so far the only idol whos been successful is kelly clarkson (i love her)

I hope he doesn't give any money to that mole. DP tried to vote for Indira so I took his sim card out of his fone until the final was over haha.
I hated Indiras attitude I'm so glad Matt won. He met his partner because he used to sing in a bar so maybe it was an underage one or there were different rules for the entertainers or something.
