I did that last year. Have fun at it. The only thing I didn't like was the photo that promoted the Palmy one was of a woman feeding her 4 and 2 year old.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I was gonna go to Botany but now I'm going to Orakei cos then I can go to coffee group after and I don't have to wake the boy as early..... DH is filming at the Birthcare one...

I just hope my boy feeds properly sometimes he gets distracted, especially in a new place!

Arohanui - I had a wee chat with your DH about this yesterday at all. He was looking very proud of himself for going to watch the "mumma's feeding their little babies". I jokingly mentioned that there will be Mumma's feeding their older kids too and you should've seen his jaw drop. It was priceless!

I think the official count is 1111 for today. Not bad considering there would be many more mums bfeeding at home who couldn't make it in.

Ahaha that's so funny Fiona! He's was weirded out when that doco was on with the older kids still breastfeeding. Though he knows I'm gonna keep on feeding til me or the boy decide it's the right time to stop... who knows when that's going to be! Could be when he's 1 or could be later... hopefully not earlier though..

DH was surprised at some of the other people in his team who thought it wouldn't be 'appropriate' to do that story! (like they're gonna be showing full on boob shots or something).   I was so mad, I was ready to go in there and give them a lecture But then Mr big boss said to do it so I was pleased! DH was too cos he thought the others were being dumb.

So we went along this morning, we went to one at a Marae and it was lovely. There was some wee kids from the kohunga so sang to us. BUT my cheeky boy was too distracted by everyone/everything that he wouldn't latch on!! Every time I raised my hand he'd pull away to see what I was doing with my hand!!

But it was worth a try anyway, and was fun. Maori tv was there so who knows, we might be seeing a wee redhead on Maori news tonight

edited for typos
