Thats just disgusting behaviour that you might expect for the child NOT the parents. I don't understand how people can be so rude!

i find it hard to start conversations with newbies at groups cos I'm shy, but there is no excuse for saying something like that...

My DH (also a SAHD) has had trouble fitting in to groups as well, not too much clickey here but no guys nonetheless! It's awful because they don't get much support from working guys either (mostly cause they haven't a clue)

Oh no. That is so bad for them. Perhaps try a playcentre group? I actually found most moms there to be really into wanting guys to come and join them as well. But I suppose that depends from group to group.

We do painting in the garden with McKayla and just wash it away with the hosepipe.
