Topic: Im having a pity party..... Posted: 02 November 2007 at 1:12pm |
anyone want to join me.
Bloody AF time again and I feel like crap, seems like the second one after bubs arrives is as bad as the first, if not worse. Have thrown up twice this morning which is more times than I threw up with m/s, that I felt sick constantly but only threw up once after a dodgy helicopter ride, which probably would have made me chuck anyway. My back is killing me, panadol does jack sh*t, my house is a mess, I have a jewellery order to do, there is no chocolate in this stupid bloody house and I have got the hump!!!!!!

Oh I will so join you. But first I hope you feel better soon, it's no fun having a sore back without all the other stuff as well.
The house is a tip and I have two projects to work on today and I just don't feel any motivation to do it.
We have a rodent problem, which I have never encountered before in my life, anywhere I have lived. A big ass RAT that keeps getting in and avoiding all traps every night and I am so grossed out and scared and frustrated that we haven't caught it yet. And embarrassed - we are not dirty people! We live in a clean house and don't leave food around and I don't understand WHY this disgusting vermin has decided to move in!
I keep getting stomach pains from uterus expansion, heaps worse than last pregnancy (have had it all checked out so nothing untoward - just pain) and this morning DD kept kicking me right there during nappy change - not cool!
We can't sell our house and we can't move and finances are a problem I am so over EVERYTHING in my life right now. DD is teething and I can't talk to any of my friends because they are all either sick or pregnant for the first time (so don't want to bomb them with bad baby/pregnancy stories!) or I haven't spoken to them in ages so I don't feel right getting in touch just to have a rant/vent/b*tch.
So what do I do? Buy myself a BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger and sit in bed feeling sorry for myself. Geez, that'll solve it all!

 Girls
I'll join in too I'm so lost with what to do with Caprece last night it took me 2 hours to get her to sleep (this was at 1 in the morning) its getting so stressful cos I have to try and keep her quiet so she doesn't wake ben or Jack but she just cries all the bl**dy time anyway. I eded up giving her rescue rememdy last night which did put her to sleep but now I feel so guilty for giving it to her, I think I need to talk to me sis (shes a homeopath) to see if its appropriate for times like that. I'm also feeling guilty cos I feel like most my energy goes into Caprece and poor Jack just gets left in the background. My house is also a mess but thats nothing new. I just want one day off where I get a stretch of more than 2 hours sleep and someone else deals with Caprece and her crying

I am dreading my AF coming back so big hugs to you.
Rach...will Ben help in the night on the odd occasion? I found when Tom wouldnt settle, DH would get up and he had more patience to walk around with him (I was too sore after pushing the bugger out). He didnt mind doing it and I only asked him if I was desperate. he said its his job too.
As for the rescue remedy...I think it is ok to use it like that.

I just had my first one and it was horrible .
But my thing at the moment is my sore head. I'm having a de-tox from Diet Coke and far out does the head hurt.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I rolled my ankle today and fell on the ground - with rhyley in my arms. AND now my ankle is killing me and I can't walk on it so hobbling every where (even that hurts but being a mother I can't just not move!)

Hugs everyone!
I'll join you...I'm feeling very hurt by several people who are close to me & am wondering why people can't just be nice! Family can be so cruel. Feeling very fragile today and in need of more tissues!
Hearing everyone elses struggles helps keep perspective though.

Big hugs again to everyone. Must be one of those days, huh!
Fiona, that truely sucks. Get your DH to give you a big hug, and remember there are lots of people here who are on your side.
We are setting multiple rat traps tonight. AGAIN. Don't However, I'm not sure if I actually want to catch anything...DH will definitely be dealing with that.

Oh no rats are no good. Our cats kindly lost a HUGE rat in our room at 11pm last night. Needless to say there was a lot of cursing from DH and a very sorry rat thrown out the window 30mins later (and some rather large dark circles under the eyes this morning!).
Good luck!

Big hugs Fiona! I have some issues of my own at times with family members (of the higher generation) who I wish would just grow up!
