I have a laptop and have managed to press a button on the keyboard (don't ask me which key I mistakenly pressed!) and now my scroll up and down and side to side arrows don't scroll when I press them (for example when I am in excel). When pressed they open a new folder or something like that. I have been persevering with tabing along etc, but now it is annoying me and I am sure someone would be able to help to get them back to scrolling? I am pretty up to speed with computers and this is probably something really simple to fix, but I feel so dumb asking this question

Anyone know how to help me please??

On the top of your keyboard, where the F1, F2 etc are, look towards the right past F12 - there should be a button saying something like "SckrLk" - scroll lock. Just press that and you'll be sweet

Glad it's done. I too sometimes press it by mistake - it can be quite annoying!
