Is there anyone here that has got this?

I have had a look on IRD website and it tells you about $150 x 8payments, but I can't see anything in regards to applying and filling out forms etc?

Also, can someone tell me when I can apply/organise working for family payments?

I filled out all the WFF paperwork the week before Mika was born, just left her dob open. Once she was born I only had to fill her birth date in and posted it off.
They give you an 8 week grace period to get an IRD nr., and that is plenty of time.
The WFF application contains a form to request an IRD nr. as well.

I can't help you with the parental tax credit, as I had paid maternity leave. Sorry.

if you are registered for WFF you will recieve the parental tax credit almost automatically (if you are eligible), and if you missed out you should get a lump sum payment after your personal tax summary arrives in late july.

I got parental tax credit. It started automatically when I got our WFF paperwork in. Kate it should all be online to download, print out and fill in.

I applied for WFF about 2 weeks ago (babe was 7 weeks).. We didn't however get Parental Tax Credit automatically. I rang a week after WFF started to enquire about it and we were entitled to the full amount. ($1200 over 8 weeks) so we will start getting it this week YAY!

You have to apply for Parental Tax Credit within the first 3 months after your bubs is born though.
