WOW

She does make a good point thou. I hd tears in my eyes at the last bit. There are some truely horrible people out there that are bad mothers tghat do do that  . Yet we do something silly like give our children a lolly and we are called bad mothers - I don't think so.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

She's trying to make a good point, but goes a little extreme I think.

This is a point that I continually talk to my friend about.
We have raised our children completely opposite, she tells me that I am either doing it better or she is not doing it by the book. But I don't think either of us are wrong, our intention is to give our child the best and the best way we know how. It is the druggies and abusers that are doing it wrong, not us.
This is why I am so supportive of these forums, if we can come and discuss issues and cheer each other on then we are (even more!) firmly on the right track and doing our kids justice!

...and that's also what makes Oh baby such a great place! We're all different and we all support eachother's choices and provide advice/information when required, take it or leave it, it's up to you (just like all of those parenting books)
