that would be heaps easier when I have to remove them all before the other 1yr olds can eat the cake (don't think little hard silver balls would go down to well)

Very groovey!! The silver balls do soffen after a bit, but not sure how long. The cake proberbly wont last long enough to find out.

I read the title and did think that it was a cake not a baby, but thought damn, wish I had thought of that and was going to be really rude an put a pic of my cake I made in the weekend on here but now I see I don't have to cos there is another thread just for me to gloat, so I am about to put a pic of DD's 2nd bday cake on the cake thread.
Oh and well done, your cake is awesome, it is so pretty, and I'm sure two layers of icing just will add to the flavour, I'd still eat it!!
