I have this recipe - somehow I managed to watch the tail end of a Nigella Lawson programme at xmas, and she made this ...

Naughty ginger posting in the wrong place ...although technically it wasn't the wrong place per se until you guys asked what I wanted it for ...so it's actually you guys' faults

In a dessert glass, sprinkle the bottom of the glass with rough chopped dark chocolate.
On top of the chocolate put a couple of tablespoons of chestnut puree (I suppose I could use hazlenut or some such thing if there is anything like that)
Crumble up some meringues and mix these into some whipped cream, and then put a good sized dollop of the whipped cream on top of the chestnut puree and cocolate, and then sprinkle the top with a 'snow dusting' of broken meringues.
Mmmmm.... yummy. Plus I think you could play around with the recipe a fair bit to do what you like with it.
