   taine lacks iron, and although we are giving him supplements at the moment, I would prefer for his diet tobe providing his nutrients if possible.  BUT, he is not fond of meat - at all really, And, he rarely eats a decent dinner, but boy,  can he pack it away at lunch (daycare ended up requesting me to bring him more food - as a yoghurt, two sandwiches, two pieces of fruit, a chopped up carrot, some snacky nuts or something - wasn't enough).  So really, i'm looking for ways to get iron into him - Especially any vegetarian options, as I said before, he isn;t fond of meat, but will eat fruit and veges pretty well.

   Having a glass of orange juice or a vit c tablet with meals can help him absorb the iron. 
I'm hopeless at working out what food has what in it so can't really help you there sorry.

   If you do a search in the preggy section i did a post when I was preggers about iron rich foods.. in a hurry so can't do it myself and people came up with ideas for me as I'm a vego

   Iron-Rich Foods
Foods that are a good source of iron include:
 liver
 lean red meats, including beef, pork, lamb
 seafood, such as oysters, clams, tuna, salmon, and shrimp, etc.
 beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils
 iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta
 greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens
 tofu
 vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts
 chicken and turkey
 blackstrap molasses

   You can "muli" up liver and/or meat and hide it in anything - or so a friend told me. She hides liver in yoghurt!    Any developments with intolerance testing or where his iron levels are now at?

   my sis home made her baby food and used to grate frozen liver into everything and apparently since its such a small quantity you cant taste it.
