Well we are doing ok, Ive had enough as its been 104 days today!
I have had a couple of bad days with his feeding etc but today just topped it off!!!
I arrive there and my nurse was like "at 4am he decided to pull his feeding tube out so we thought we would challenge him to take the bottle! he has taken all full bottle feeds over night so thats good!"

I was so angry and at doctors rounds she said it again to the doctors... well I piped up and said yeah but he hasn't taken a full bottle off me yet has he! (and I started crying! I was so upset) one of the doctors said how Ive been wanting to start rooming in for ages so my specialist organised it so I start staying in from... TOMORROW NIGHT!! my specialist asked if I wanted to have a bit of a chat and I said yes,
So after her rounds we sat and had a bit of a chat - it was great! I told her how Ive had enough and told her how Ive been feeling with his care over the last couple of weeks and she apologised and said unfortunately they are back to being over full again and are now having to send baby's over to Australia!
anyway, I asked her how long before we can go home and she said come in tomorrow and stay (Sunday) and we will see next Monday (19th)
So Fingers Crossed he will be home Monday 19th March!!! (113 days later!)

Hope Every One is well, please continue to have us in your thoughts and prayers!

 Trish

All the best Trish with this coming week. Yay for him coming home soon. Thats good that you were about to get it all out with the specialist and that she was willing to listen to you and help organise the rooming that will be good for the both of you.

Wow Trish I'm so glad you can finally room in and look after Aidan. I bet it will help keep your finger on the pulse, I'm so hoping that your stay is a pleasant - but short - one!
My thoughts are with your "men" too. Soon you'll all be together again, yay!

   how awesome for you!
I know it must suck when he does things like take a full bottle off the nurses etc when your not there but if they dont keep trying these things then he wont progress and be able to come home. You have Bailey to think about to so cant be there 24/7. Its good progress for him so be proud of him for taking his bottles and that it means he can come home sooner, try not to dwell on the fact it wasnt you he took the bottles from. Im not trying to say it doesnt suck and can only imagine how hard it all must be for you but him taking bottles is great new really!
