Best Night Nap

We used a boosted Fuzzi on Leo until he was over a year old as he was only a light wetter. But when he started wetting more we switched to a heavily boosted Foxybots, which had a bigger pocket and seemed less prone to wicking (might be to do with the waterproof layer they use). But once Leo reached 18-20mths we couldn't stuff a pocket enough to keep him dry overnight (12-13hrs) so we switched to Designer Bums hemp fitted nappy & merino cover and haven't looked back!! We got the bamboo booster to go with the fitted nappy and it's soooo absorbent - we've never had a leak. In the winter months I switched the cover for a pair of woollen longies as they doubled as pj pants.

To boost a pocket we used a Nix-Kidz hemp fleece flat (2 layers of hemp fleece which you trifold to gert 6 layers) plus a Foxybots hemp/microfibre trifold (for another 3 layers of hemp & 3layers of microfibre).

My nearly 3 year old is in his Fuzzy with a hemp supersoaker insert from baby harmony and a normal insert. Hes a heavy wetter (always through huggies at night!) and we have had no problems at all now.
Ali is in her honey child pockets with a normal hemp insert and 2 microfiber ones and no leaks from her either. She has slept in her ittis and didnt leak but is was awfully stiff and full in the morning so i think the HC are more comfy for her.

We use a Foxybots with about 5 layers of m/f and 5 layers of hemp and have never had any problems and I really like how soft they are around his legs, they don't seem to leave any red marks like my Fuzzi bunz do.

Jack who is quite a heavy wetter has a foxy with a peapod trifold, baby harmony hemp booster and mf insert.

Caprece who is quite a light wetter could easily do an itti bitti over night

I know what you mean about the cost, I felt the same way but when I thought about how much I'd spend on Huggies in the long run I figured that a couple of night nappies was worth it, especially as they never leaked. They also wear really well so you can get good money back when you sell them (easily $20 per nappy).

Why don't you put a post on The Nappy Network trading post board to see if anyone has any medium DB fitted nappies & covers they're willing to sell? You'll be surprised what comes out of the woodwork there!

I use the tots bots bamboozle, with a booster in it and I find it fantastic. We have never had any leaks and my son is a very heavy wetter.
I have tried about 5 different nappies at night and I have found this one to be the best.   It last about 12 hours for us.

It went really well! No leaks and no wicking so you can add Ecobubs wool pockets with a bamboo and Microfiber inserts to the list of good night naps.
