We get soo many comments from various people at the grocery shop....not to mention it costs us somewhere around $40.00 a week, we tried cutting down but it didn't work. It is all we have in ways of bought drinks though, other than that it's water (ooh I guess not as we have coffed, tes, milo etc)

2X 3L bottles but we always have the long life stuff in the cupboard as a back-up if we run out. We generally go thru 7L in a week and will often get another bottle from the diary

Wow! I thought our milk was going faster than usual but we still only go through 2 litres p/w, 3 at most!
My kids only have milk in the mornings though and DH and I have an average of 2 hot drinks per day. Porridge occasionally and a bit for baking and cooking too.

Basically none!! I don't drink any type of milk, and DH occasionally buys a 1L of soy milk.

We go through about 1L of normal milk and 2L of lactose free milk. DF only uses the normal milk for his coffee, and occasionally a bowl of cornflakes, whereas the lactose free milk is for my coffees plus any cooking we do - mashed spuds etc. When I was a kid we used to go through between 2-3L a day - that's 2 adults and 2 kids using it, we used to drink it by the bucketful.

In a week, hmm, we probably go through 8L? Maybe less, sometimes more if I do any baking / cooking that requires it. Otherwise it goes on coffee, milo, cereal etc and DD is a milk monster too - but I'm quite happy for her to have as much milk as she likes really.

Our's is around 6L a week, used by 4 of us.  I buy 2 x 3L in my shop, which is on a Monday, and sometimes by Saturday I'm having to buy another 2L to last us til the next shop.   It's become less since Gia stopped having bottles before her sleeps.  We'd go through at least 8L a week then.   |

4-6 litres a week at a guess. All I know is that it is so damn expensive thats for sure. |
