Joshua has just turned two, and is a real boy when it comes to his interests - cars, trains, trucks, buses, diggers - anything in the transportation genre really takes his interest.
Well, last week, he would randomly (so I thought) point out different cars and say "ma-ma" which is what he calls his grandma's. I would say "no darling, thats not ma-ma's car, ma-ma's car is green" and ask him to point out green cars. Today at daycare, we were in the carpark and there was a car parked beside us that was red, and he started on the whole "ma-ma's car" thing, and I said, again, "no, not ma-ma's car" when he said to me very matter of fact "IS ma-ma", and pointed to the badge on the back of the car. Which was a Toyota. Which is what his grandma in Auckland drives! Which, when I thought about it was the same make as all the other cars he has pointed out to me!!

My clever boy distinguishes Toyota's from other makes of cars by looking at the badge on the car!!!!

I Know! I guess we don't give them enough credit sometimes.

I have another little piece to add!
DP has a poster of the Blues on the back of the office door, and Joshua was standing there pointing at one of the players saying "car!". The Blues jerseys have a big Ford logo across their chests! So he knows that Ford is a car make!
 So clever! (proud mummy )
