Topic: Any chch ladies interested in.... Posted: 27 August 2007 at 8:55pm |
doing something for exercise and fun? I really need to lose some weight and I also want to do something for me. I know we are thinking of doing the netball thing but I think everyone agreed to wait till it was a bit warmer so I was thinking I wouldnt mind doing something like a dance class or even kickboxing, I used to do that years ago and they have a ladies only class.... just something casual and fun but also interesting... thing is i dont want to do anything on my own, Im to shy does anyone want to do something with me or am I gonna have to bite the bullet and go on my own?

Oh Robyn, I soooo would but I don't think I have the self confidence (let alone fitness!) - Maybe give me a couple of months and a fair few kgs shed and I'll be keen!
By the way, which week are we going back to WW?

Yeah Im on a major budget at the moment but i am planning on going back to weight watchers and thats $20 a week so would rather be spending that money on somethign that gets me out of the house etc....
What would you be keen on doing Danni? I know when i did kick boxing it was something like $30 or $40 a month, and you can go to as many classes as you want a week, kind of like a gym but no contract and cheaper.
Dance classes im not sure about but I would think casual maybe $10 a time. There are also cool aerobics classes at QE2 which are about $10 a class too

Kick boxing would probably be better I did the Jam class when I was going to Les Mills and spent most of the time laughing at myself. $30 - $40 a month sounds good I will have to it run it past Jesse cos he will be the on paying for it would be keen for 2 nights a week something like that.
