With all 4 of my pregnancies we BD'ed every day. And since I've been trying this time we haven't done that and I haven't got preggers. So this month DH will be in heaven cause it will be every day he gets it lol

im with you oxy, DH is not one of those keen beans on BD'ing everyday thats for sure...i need to convince him to BD every other day after AF and then every day for 3 days around OV....but hey it worked last time so that may be enough for us

Maybe this will give you some hope.
DP and I are normally very active in the BDing department particuarly around ov I have always been extra "keen" even when we weren't TTC it is normally every day.
However the month we did get UTD I was soooo flat out at work doing late nights by the time I got home I was not in the mood at all. I honestly think we only BDed maybe once in the optimal time that month but I still got UTD.
Unfortunately for us that ended badly at 12weeks but that doesn't really have any bearing on the fact that every day arond ov didn't work for us but once did.

When we were TTC it was just whenever we felt like it but def once or twice at OV. This time we weren't really trying and succeeded when we BD once 5 days b4 OV. I reakon it is probably more successful if it is more spontaneous and less of a "chore". However I think my hubby must have super sperm 'cause he's got me UTD 6 times

We have been trying for every other day around ovulation time, and usually it happens every 2-3 days at other times. We tried doing it every day at first but it got quite stressful and became a bit of a chore in a way, like if you're tired or not in the mood you have to anyway it takes the romance out of it, and I didn't like where that could lead, so I read every 2nd day will still be fine so Im trying that method lol

No it all seems to work okay lol. I have to say it is usually summer and we are in that loved up mood. Sonme how even with alll that we still got UTD so who know what his sperm production is like lol.

10 times a day! My eyes just jumped out of my head and I burst out laughing (sorry) my god - where does one find the energy!
Wish I could say it was once a day - but its not it would be just so much easier then trying to figure out when to do it. I don't brooch it with DH, or say we have to B as its a chore for him then and he won't budge.

We're more the every-second-or-third-day types, ourselves, when not trying. But we both seem happy with that, and that's what matters I guess - we're all different. Round ov on clomid, we try for every day or more often, although this month we just tried to make it every second day because we had no idea when/if I'd ov.

We are a first time TTC couple and we agreed that we would bd every day, even before ov started. (I should note in here that we are generally a 1-2 bd a week couple).
However this backfired, because between exhaustion from work and doing it more than usual, we weren't in the mood to bd every single day. We only bd'd twice during ov, and now I regret it terribly.
Another person on here suggested I google 'Sperm Meets Egg Plan' - this will definitely be our bd plans for next month. A lot more relaxed than what we tried this month.
As others have said though, definitely depends on your and your DP. I would say to do it as much as you can during OV, but without it becoming a chore. However I am a total newbie at this!

We aren't trying yet but have had a discussion reagrding if we will change out habits when we are and have decided that we won't we will just BD when we feel like it so it could be once evry 3 months or so or it could be more often alot has to do with how Dh is feeling he works a very physical job and so is often tired.

We bd as often as we can around ovulation - and it is not that much fun sometimes!!
But i think it will be worth it. The sooner we conceive the sooner we can go back to doing it just for fun!
