I have a 6 1/2 month old baby and would like to buy a baby food recipe book but am unsure which one to buy.  Ideally I would like a NZ published book with good practical ideas, ie recipes that make up big batches for freezing and/or recipes that can be made for the whole family and baby's portion pureed/chopped after.  I would appreciate your views on the best book you have used.  Thanks!

Definitely Baby food and beyond by Alison Holst & Simon Holst. You can probably find it cheap on TM.

I wouldn't go buying one. Did you get an iron rich recipe booklet in your bounty pack? Otherwise PM me your address and I will send it to you (I'm not keeping it). Basically stick with your meat/veg/pasta dishes but remove his from the pan before adding flavourings (salt, spices, etc). Then chop or puree and leave it to cool while you complete the family meal.

Thanks everyone for your comments,  Busy Mum, yes I do have a copy of the iron recipes, I've made a few of them but  was wanting a few more ideas as well. 

I have found a copy of the Alison & Simon Holst book on TM with a buy now price so have bought it.
