I have just been talking to a friend who went through Fertility Associates to help her get pregnant and they gave her a lot of good tips to increase your chances of conceiving etc.
One she mentioned that I thought I would pass on is that if your partner has slowish sperm etc then they were told if you get him to drink a big coffee of glass of Coke about an hour before BDing it can speed them up.

Now before everyone freaks out, I know that caffiene isn't really recommended during TTC but its just something I thought I would mention, I know we will be giving it a whirl!

Hehe yep I read up on this a while back. Shettles also says that if you want a boy, for the man to drink coffee before sex, and if you want a girl not to as you don't want the already speedy wee Y's beating out the X's! Funny aye? My DH used to drink heaps of coffee right before bed (and he still slept like a baby) - must have worked for us for #1, not working for #2 though

Do you think there is enough caffeine in Coke Zero? This is what DF drinks and he doesn't drink hot drinks so no coffee there! Oh what about V?

I'm not sure actually? I think Coke Zero still has a lot of caffeine, just less sugar (correct me if I'm wrong)
DH was chugging down a can of Coke Zero in bed last night - Much to my amusement - So I hope Coke Zero is ok??
My DH doesn't drink coffee either. I'm sure a V would do the trick?! He may not be able to sleep for a bit though!

My lecturer at course told me about a study on on men and porn. Apparantly men who watched porn with more than one male had a higher success rate than those who didn't. Its a biological thing so if they have competition their swimmers want to beat the other mans swimmers. Not everyones cup of tea but thought I would let you guys know |
