I have suffered from multiple chemical pregnancies and am thinking of asking my specialist to go on clomiphene just in case I have some kind of hormonal imbalance that needs sorting out.
However, I am a bit nervous about the increased possibility of twins and the possible side effects including reducing CM and uterine lining. Would be really interested in hearing about people's experiences.

Vanillabean - surely after 4 m/c they should refer you to a specialist. I am so sorry to see that you had one recently too.
Well, last month was my first month on clomid. I am on a low dose seeing I ov on my own anyway. I luckily did not have any side effects. I also had the usual EWCM and my uterine lining was thick(scan). The possibility of multiple births is pretty slim if you are monitored. Although I did not get my BFP on the first month as I hoped there is still a 40% chance of a BFP within the first 3 months and 50% after 6 months.

   Good luck mummy megs.
Yeah I have seen three different specialists and no one has been able to diagnose an underlying cause. That is why I am looking at suggesting treatments to my specialist.

So with monitoring the cycle do they tell you not to ttc that month if you have too many follicles developing?

Yes, but they shoudl start you off on a very low dose so this should not happen.
 Good luck.

With clomid there is a 10% chance of twins,,, theres about an 85%of a singleton and the rest is divided into other multiples like triplets etc..they are minimal chances like <1%.
I'm on my 5th cycle.
I had some mood swings on clomid, but they subside pretty quickly after you take the last pill- in my experience anyways...
