   What don't I eat!!!!
Seriously though, I snack on nuts. Brazil ones or Almond are my favourites. I probably eat way too many though!
But then again, I have no enery either. Probably more to do with my nearly 7 month old son waking every 2 hours at night |

Helps to maintain a good supply too!

I mostly have things like nuts, eggs (scrambled, fried, boiled), cold milos, dried fruit (we get these little packets that are chopped up dried apricot and apple or pear), yohgurt, bananas, peanut butter or marmite and cheese on wholegrain toast, frozen juicies, Vita Quench...

I second the complan with banana.
Also scroggin, bran muffins - hmm actually I just eat like a horse!
I had terrible lethargy a few weeks back but I think it was iron levels as I started taking multivitamins and it's got better now.
Also never underestimate the power of a 'nana nap' |

I took the Blackmores Pregnancy and Breastfeeding vitamins. Check with your chemist as something like this may help.
Although it doesn't sound like it would help, I found going for a walk and getting some fresh air very helpful in making me feel better. Jack was born at the end of April so due to the weather we spent a lot of time inside. I always felt energised after a short walk, even 5-10 mins. Or even if you just spent time outside - although you may already do this!

I agree with the walking and getting some fresh air too. Even if I am exhausted I still go for a walk every afternoon and I surprisingly feel so refreshed afterwards!

Yoghurt, hummus etc. have you thought about having your iron levels checked? Especially if they were low in pregnancy.

Yoghurt, smoothies (especially at 8pm when the cluster-feeding starts to hit ya), nutty muesli bars, cheese and pineapple, cut veges with dip. For the last two, have them available in the fridge all the time so when you reach for a snack, it's right there.
Beware that lots of sugar/biscuits etc will just make you feel worse 10 minutes later. But double choc muffins still hit the spot like nothing else, at times!! |
