My brothers-in-law both refused to use the family Baptism gown on their sons as they said there's no way their boys are going to wear a dress.

Men!!!!!!!!!! there were several parents at preschool (men) funny bout letting boys dressup or play in pink ... there's heapppppppppppppppps of research that says it actually helps them and certainly doesn't 'turn them gay!!!' :) !

Joshie loves carrying my handbag round the house whilst wearing my shoes 
Also, he's got longer hair, and sometimes his half-sister will put it in pigtails. While he's carrying my handbag and wearing my shoes.
Hehehe, DP gets a bit concerned, but he's also a real 'boy' who loves trucks and cars and smashing stuff.

Wow - I really don't understand that mindset... how outdated! I have nothing wrong with boys wearing pink or whatever they like, though I don't really like pink and the closest Seb has in clothes/nappies is purple.
I hope these men would be alot more supportive if their children actually were gay! I can see how the whole closet thing starts.

We've already had the "what if he's gay" chat and DH would be fine with it.
I also caught them both playing with the handbag earlier, DH was putting Spencers toys in it for him, so he's obviously not that bothered, it just made me laugh.
I can't wait until the day he comes home from work and Spencer is walking around wearing my shoes and necklace and stuff like they do, in fact I might dress him up on purpose just for a laugh.

Mine gets upset all the time with what the boys have been doing. Andrew plays with his friends dolls and pushes them around in the pushchair at their place. But he is still a boy who will go out and run around outside and play with the cars and stuff like that.

My DH's best mate is gay, and he has no problem with it whatsoever. He always cringes when he hears about other men restricting their son's toys to stereotypical male ones.

ROFL!!!!!!
I had an ex-boyfriend who apparently at preschool would always dress up in a red silky/lacy nightie thing and his mum wasn't worried but apparently some other mums were so she finally asked him why he liked to wear it so much and it turned out her was being a fireman and it was the only red thing in the dress up collection. I thought that was too cute, and shows we can't put adult perceptions onto kids and their imaginations.

Our wee boy is such a boy boy but he also plays with his sister babies and likes to wear her playshoes (I think its cause the noise they make) DH has no probs kids will be kids
