That's beautiful Janine

I didn't write this (in fact I didn't write anything after my m/c, I was completely blank), but it's a verse from an old Garth Brooks song that reminds me of baby. I actually made a CD of songs that reminded me of baby and I still play it from time to time (and bawl my eyes out).

"And now I'm glad I didn't know, the way it would all end, the way it would all go. Our lives are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance."

Trish (Tastic) had someone make up this graphic for me of the u/s pic of our bub...

The lady who made the graphic (Trish passed it on to someone else) enhanced mine, it was actually a lot darker coz it's scanned from the actual film. 'Baby' was only tiny, the tiny little black spot. I've got a pic of the gremlins at the same stage too

I scanned mine with the cover open so the light can go straight thru them ,it gives a clearer picture.

I sent it to my sister while i was online toher the other night and she read it to my nephew and niece and they all sat and bawled together.. (i thought it was funny in a warped sweet kinda way)

I thought of you all I closed my eyes
And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother
And I know I heard him say.

A Mother has a baby
This we know is true.
But God can you be a Mother
When your baby's not with you?

Yes, you can He replied
With confidence in His voice
I give many women babies
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime
And others for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb
But there's no need to stay

I just don't understand this, God
I want my baby here
He took a breath and cleared His throat
And then I saw a tear.

I wish I could show you
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say...

"We go to earth to learn our lessons
Of love and life and fear.
My Mummy loved me oh so much
I got to come straight here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mum
Who had so much love for me
I learned my lesson very quickly
My Mummy set me free.

I miss my Mummy oh so much
But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep
On her pillow's where I lay.

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And whisper in her ear.
Mummy don't be sad today
I'm your baby and I'm here."

So you see my dear sweet one
Your children are ok
Your babies are here in My home
And this is where they'll stay.

They'll wait for you with Me
Until your lesson there is through.
And on the day that you come home
They'll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother
It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

Through some on earth may not realise
Until their time is done.
Remember all the love you have
And know that you are a special Mum!

The world may never notice If a Snowdrop doesn't bloom, Or even pause to wonder If the petals fall too soon. But every life that ever forms, Or ever comes to be, Touches the world in some small way For all eternity. The little one we long for Was swiftly here and gone.
