Topic: How can I get my rings off???     Posted: 11 August 2008 at 9:06pm |

My fingers have swollen up in the cold and now I can't get my wedding ring off. It really hurts when I do exercise. I have tried soap and warm water. Can I use moisturiser???

Got any butter or cooking oil? Use either of those.

 Works a treat!

Plain moisturizer will work.. or cooking oil or even soaking your hands in warm (not hot) water will help reduce the swelling

Yay thank you I just used Nigel's face moisturiser (the only one I could find) and it came off with a bit of effort.

His ws the first I found. When they got into the army they gave them all some Alpha Keri moisturiser for some reason, so he uses it after he has a shave everyday.
