Topic: Another TMI AF question Posted: 03 December 2007 at 7:52pm |

I always used to have a medium flow, 6 day AF. But lately it's gone a bit crazy. Last month it went for 4-5 days, [M L H L *]. This month it went [H L H *] Is it anything to be concerned about? Also I'm in the running for tests with my Ov cramps and one idea is endo... but isn't endo usually associated with really heavy bleeding for 7+ days?

Haven't had any hormone replacement ever, and haven't been on contraception cause we've been casually TTC since June...

Yeah endo causes heavy periods. I had endo removed a couple of years ago and always have a lightish flow on day one then it gets heavy for 2/3 days then light again to finish.

I stopped BF this weekend so AF for this month was already underway, not to mention last month's one
It's the going to light then heavy then light thing that gets me the most. My AF started on Friday afternoon, was fairly heavy and I was uncomfy etc. Then hardly anything overnight and until about lunchtime where I was so uncomfy I went to lie down for a bit - and soaked a super pad in the next 2 hours. Then nothing again for 24 hours.... a bit more on Sunday (only light) then only spotting this morning and all over rover. Seems quite unusual!

Whooooops got too cocky. Since I hadn't done anything since 11am I just took my pad out - 5 minutes later - *rolls eyes*
ETA: Must have been the white undies!!!
