Well my birthday is in December - it really does suck. I always tried to convince my mother that I could have it in August instead, but she never went for it. Hate getting 'combined' pressies. Hate getting birthday pressies wrapped in xmas paper.
But anyway, it won't be all about me this time!
I don't imagine we will have a big xmas this year as bubs will be too young to care, so will probably wrap up some boxes or whatever she is into pulling apart at that stage - lol!
There is somthing to be said about not having contact with one side of the family as it minimises the driving on xmas day - we may go to the inlaws for xmas day because they are amazing and do everything and make a big fuss of us, otherwise, if I can be bothered (so, no this won't be happening !) I could have it here.

Miss if you feel the need to stay home for Christmas, could I go to your in-laws instead?

We I had a look at the flybuys points and we can get Andrew some Thomas stuff from there for xmas, Josh who knows what we'll get him. I'm hoping my parents will be in Oz by then and we'll take off over there for xmas and new years *fingers crossed*. As much as we love spending time with DH's family his brother annoys the hell out of me and I hate spending any time with him, so I avoid times like that.
I'll go looking at the July toy sales for a few things (and end up with a lot ).

Lol Busymum! We are lucky.
Mummybecks - that is awesome that you can use your flybuys, we hardly ever have enough points to do anything with, then again I have now lost the card so that doesn't help...
