Deborah - yep I still will be able to fly, but won't be able to get a scan at 8 weeks like I wanted to as I won't be back till I am nearer 10 weeks, and they will probably make me wait till 12 weeks then for the nuchal fold scan.
I am a bit nervous about going, but Mum and Dad have a good GP there, and I have had my hCg levels checked again this morning and get the results back tomorrow so hopefully everything will be fine.

Hell no! Waiting till after the first scan when we know everything is ok. I'd rather save the nuclear fallout till then... 
I was talking to my doc about it this morning and she pointed out that it is my life, and she's right. Very sensible doctor. I wonder if she'll tell them for me

Oh Emma, I'm sure they'll be stoked!! My mum cried for ten minutes straight when I told her! Mind you, we thought I couldn't have babies so it was pretty freaky for her. I could prank call your parents for you though....

Hehe Emma, I know how you feel... I remember trying to tell my mum! I sat her down with a couple of glasses of wine and then asked her if she'd had enough to be happy at my news but not so much she wouldn't remember what I had told her tomorrow... needless to say I told her and then she downed the rest of her glass!!
And I think Andy's dad almost keeled over at the news... stunned silence!
I am sure they'll be fine tho, they will have seen how perfect Maya has turned out and will be pleased for more!! Good luck!

LOL, the big problem with my parents is Willie. It's the whole "he's not good enough for you" thing blah blah blah. Which is kind of justified as he was dreadful when I ws pregnant with Maya, but we have worked thru that, and he is going to be so much more involved this time round.
But part of me is a bit annoyed that they won't be happy and say congratulations, it kind of takes the shine off things. When I got preg with Maya it was a big shock to everyone, me included, but this time round it is planned and I just want them to respect that.

Thans Clare - me too!
Well I told my Mum, and she started to do the whole angry/disappointed thing, until I pointed out that I am an adult, I am a good mother to Maya, and that Willie and I are happy about this so she should be too. It's growing on her - but she's not game enough to tell dad. Neither am I lol - I was 5 mths before I told him with Maya, and I can see that happening again...
