Tom currently has 3 milk feeds of 200ml ea.  One an hour after breakfast, an hour after lunch and just before bed.  Lately he has been bery fussy with them and not wanting as much.  Sometimes he just doesnt want the milk at all.  When do we drop feeds? I am just wandering if this is what he is doing.  Unfortunately we havent seen Plunket yet and wont for another 2 weeks so I cant ask there.  Tom has pretty much dictated all the changes in his diet so far, he just starts changing his routine and by the time I work it out we are on a new stage.

Do you cut it down? I thought at that age, they were supposed to have at least 3 milk feeds until 12 months??

Bella has been off her milk in the last week or so too...seemed like it was a bit of a 'strike' as she's back to completing 600mls per day again. Hopefully this will be the same for Tom.

We still do 3 feeds a day (4 if hes teething and refuses solids altogether)..

We make up 180mls for morn and lunch but 210mls for bedtime. Sometimes he will drink them all, sometimes he will only take 100 of the first 2. As long as I offer it and he has a little I think its fine.

we are still on 3 milk feeds a day (and one sneakly feed at night). At Ella 9 month plunket check up I got told to move her onto 3 bf a day and then at 12 months down to 2 feeds (but I can't see that happening any time soon).

I could be wrong but don't they recommend around 500ml per day at 9 months?

I'd just keep doing what your doing, it doesn't matter how many feeds more how much he is getting altogether. I don't think you drop any more feeds, they get replaced with cows milk in a cup around one?

Oh thats good, so maybe he just doesnt want as much in each feed.  I wont worry then.  I just know a friend of mine who is Bfing found her daughter just dropped the feeds at some point and is nearing 1yr and only on one boob feed a day.  I worried I might have missed a fundamental somewhere along the way
