Yep that is unreal. In her line of work she needs to be very sensitive and not make comments like that. There are plenty of other prople out there busting their gut to find a job who whould never even dream of saying anything that unprofessional. I would deffinatly make a complaint.

And the truth is she really doesn't know whats going to happen. Plenty of people have successful pregnancies after multiple miscarriages. Telling you not to hope is like saying "why don't you just give up already" Grrrrrrr. So unbelievable coming from a health professional. She needs to get some compassion.

That's horrible. All the best for the next few weeks, even if she's not holding out hope I sure am with all the things you and your doctor have learned about your BP condition etc. I thought your DH had sperm count issues, if so congrats to him LOL!

Well yeah Kents sperm count was on the low side or normal, but it seems they still do their job, its now up to my body to do its job.

Good grief! How unprofessional of her! Good on you for being willing to stand up to her and make her eat her words. She definitely needs to realise that compassion is a big part of nursing, and it doesn't matter what her personal opinion is she should be supportive and helpful.
