At what age did you move bubs into a big bed? Ive found a bed I want for Addison on Trade Me. I know we put Kobe into a big bed around 16months but that was because we had the twins on the way. He went in really well and I always said I would put Addison in at the same age but now she just seems to little and I think I want my baby for a bit longer.
What age did everyone else do the big change to big bed?

I haven't done it yet but I was thinking about putting James in a big bed around 2 and will probably convert his cot to a bed a couple of months before that.

Jake it was about 18 months I think - cause we needed the cot for Taine, but putting Taine in...well possibly at the same time, but I was really reluctant that my baby was going into a bed and I was a bit teary. We were moving and giving the cot to friends.

Kiya: 20 months, Josiah: 22 months (needed the cot for Xavier)
Interestingly enough, Kiya was ready for the switch when I made it... Josiah was not. He coped fine overall, but it was too soon for him. So instead of moving Xavier potentially too early, we're looking at buying a second cot this time.

We got Ella a big bed for her 2nd birthday. She was really active and kept climbing around in her cot, so was well ready to move.

jack went into his big bed on his 2nd birthday. we needed the cot for when charli was born but i probably would've changed him anyway
have you got room to store the bed until you are both ready for the change?
