Funny speaking of the pigeon pairs.....I've been having dreams this one is a boy (and DH plus Nat's carer are also convinced it's a boy)....time will tell (and that may not be till the eviction date )
Kye - hope Jayden starts improving soon
Fliss, you are doing a great job It's a bloody hard job that isn't always rewarding.
Bad parents = kids in at starship for being beaten up not people (like us ) who let them watch too much tv and don't always want to spend 24/7 with them
Love the avatar too Anna
MIL arrives in about an hour, DH has just left to pick her up. Mixed feelings - it's the first time she's actually stayed with us, as usually she stayed with SIL (but SIL now living in Aussie with them isn't much use! ). She's really lovely but we run out of conversation so fast, and DH won't be around tomorrow or some of Sat to act as an intermediary. (and Nat will be in care tomorrow too). I'm starting to realise as well that some of my issues relate to being resentful that my Mum can't be here as well. Gah. pregnancy hormones not helping my pity party I'm usually well-adapted 12 years down the line, but I think at these milestone moments, it still makes me sad and mad (especially hearing about those crappy people that beat their children to death....how come they get to stick around (and likely produce more children), and great loving parents like mine didn't?).
Right, pity party over I'll be back to normal tomorrow.....sorry for the drama
Hope everyone has a lovely night.
oh, and go weegee on even no gas I'm so glad that you got to have your drama-free VBAC

Oh thats right there's still some birthdays. I hope we haven't missed any in between. Happy Birthday Hayden.Oh blondy. Yeah weegee's is pretty brave. I though I did well on my 2, but 8lb 12oz VBAC, no drugs is pretty darn good.

Happy Birthday Hayden!!!!
and I would like pink next, and for some strange reason have been thinking of a next, so the end of the year look out! weird what the biological clock and hormones do!
Jayden has camptolobactor (sp?) as most of you would know from fb, the Dr rang this morning, took since Tues for the culture to grow, so hes on ABs and has picked up remarkably since yesterday thank goodness!!! I had work today and two reports to get to Council which didnt happen since I was sooooooooooooooo tired things just werent making sense so hopefully next week and some sleep we will be all back to normal! and thank goodness for antibioitcs....still not sure what the cause could be so will have to do some investigating!
I have been feeling nausuous (sp?) over the last 10 days or so and am sick so not sure if I have it mildly? even to the point of taking HPTs (but reminder that you have to have unprotected sex to be pg ) so was a very very very very remote possiblity but thank goodness im not but not sure what the nausousness is? have also been having reflux which I never have so am seeing a natropath monday....wooow that was off tangent!
blondy hope the mil goes ok!
weegee cant wait to see more pics, hope all is well!!!!
love hate relationship with elmo ahy!

Glad you've got a diagnosis at least Kye and yay for Jayden picking up
Blondy, hope you're surviving IKWYM about making your mother's absence more noticeable. I also get it when people say "so is your mother coming up after the baby's born"?
I miss my husband I'm such a softy. He's away for a conference and his week has been manic and we've hardly seen each other. I've just got Dan down but now want some adult time (not that kind, just a cuddle and someone to argue with about the last Eskimo pie!)
weegee, I'm sure you're enjoying being back at home FX for a good night tonight.
Happy birthday Hayden

Happy Birthday Ashley
Have a great day, loving the happy girl in the FB photos - she's having a fab birthday week!
Thank you for the Hayden birthday wishes, poor little mite regressed and ended up very sick again on Thursday night (been very ill for about 10 days, was better on Tues night / Wed). At least the liquid nappies have stopped but he has high temps, sore ears, vicious barking cough that makes him vomit (in the middle of the night all over DH!!). He was miserable this morning but after some Calpol and wispering of there being 'birthday secrets' downstairs he rallied nicely to enjoy his birthday morning. Had a big day sleep, early to bed, barely any food all day - not the best start to his birthday career Had a lovely SKYPE with the In Laws so that was neat they got to see him open their gifts.
Party is tomorrow afternoon, have just finished icing the cake, its not even very flash and its taken me HOURS!!!!!
Fingers crossed the birthday boy has a good sleep and is up to the festivities.

Thanx for all the birthday wishes. We are in Te puke for the weekend. Ashley is having her bday party with at her grandparents and all her cousins. Will keep everyone posted with her bday pics on FB.
This morning me and DH sang her happy bday and she had a big smile on her face. We got her ABC magnets for the fridge and she was singing away. So happy and today she was telling everyone she is 2. So cute.

Happy birthday Ashley!
It was K's birthday yesterday and I missed it. Got admitted to Middlemore ealry hours of Friday morning with severe vomiting. Got given 4 litres of saline, just got home now. Am so glad to be home and totally gutted at missing my boys big day. No party tomorrow either, that's postponed till next weekend. I can't believe he's 2!

Oh no Sarah. :( Hope you (and bubs) are all OK now? Poos about not being there for K-day but you know he won't see it that way. He'll just be happy to have mum home!
So happy (belated!) birthday Kailash and happy birthday Ashley!
Amelie is having apepoop fun on our holiday with the grandparents. I'm not sure how many people react that way to the Thames market, but it's so cute to see her so happy. Although her idea of mad-beach-fun is drawing Elmo in the sand. Like we don't do that all the time at home... ~_~

So glad to be home! Back to normal duties though, so much for taking it easy for a couple of days.
Doctor reckons its a virus, they had four other ladies in with the same thing.
We gave K his birthday presents this afternoon. Iggle Piggle ws greeted with 'where's ups-a-daisy' but thomas and percy train set was a huge hit. He played with them all afternoon and it was the end of the world when they had to go to bed at bath time. Iggle Piggle is now having a story with Daddy and Kailash though.

OMG Kallie 3 weeks to go!!!
Aww fliss, I miss my DH when he has to work late or what ever. Its funnny how a whole days conversation with a small person makes you really miss adult civilisation.
Hope you and Jayden a feeling ok now Kye
You to Sarahp that must have been scary. I'm sure K won't realise you weren't there.
I knew we missed someone in there.
Happy Birthday Kailash and Ashley!!!!

Happy birthday Kailash and Ashley
Sarah, so sorry to hear you were so sick Glad you're on the road to recovery.
I am so flipping freezing. haven't been home much so no point putting the fire on. Think it's nearly time to retreat to bed with a trashy novel and the electric blanket. I had a 20 minute power nap this afternoon and thankfully it got me through to when Dan went to bed. FX he sleeps through cos I am way too tired to deal with him tonight. Have shoveled in as much food as I possibly can - hopefully it's done the trick! I should be a nice wife and tidy the house but don't know if I can keep my eyes open. Might do a quick tidy while the blanket heats up!
Sorry, all about me. I'm in a bit of a fog with DH away (don't know how many of you do it regularly). Will be nice to have him home for a) cuddles and b) some time off. Bad mother.
