I'm back from my T&T mission trip. Unfortunately I've missed out on getting a top like Coopers , no sizes left for Jett, but my goodness they had heaps of other cool stuff in there! I have to say their style has improved heaps! Although I found there weren't any clothes I liked for Gia. Got a top and pair of pants for Rico too. And spend $100! So much for only going to buy a $7 top! I got quite a few tops and pants for Jett.
Mel, he's not that much older than me then , I was 28 in Feb.
Nikki, yay for you and Tom getting to go grocery shopping today - whoopee!
Maria, hope Ethan had good sleep for you. And that you're having a nice day!
It's time for Gia's nap, and Jett's lunch.

hiya ladies
has taken me ages to read everything, now head spinning ... more than usual.
Hope that the bus company comes through for you Kandice.
Went out to supermarket last night and tried to find s26 gold stage 2 - no hope, so tried another supermarket - none there either. Blardy supermarkets and their sales that coincide with one another - they shouldn't be allowed to have sales at the same time. Am really fed up with it.
Will try and go to another supermarket when cath wakes so that i can get her some more formula, but it might be a tad difficult what with the V8 crowds and the rugby people too. Go the Chiefs!
Cath has museli and fruit, and i give her a couple of crusts with a light smear of jam on it. Not sure if jam is okay, but she doesn't really eat it (no teeth) as worry away at it. Watties does a food sheet with 9 month plus finger foods on it and jam sandwiches feature so i figured it was okay to try crusts with jam. she doesn't like sandwiches and doesn't like pasta - rubbery and gets cold to quick. Lunch is usually a tin of watties stuff. Todays was beef and risotto. Like to try new foods at lunchtime just in case she has a reaction to it. Grate liver into lunch stuff every two days or so. Finishes up with a superwine biscuit. Poke a couple of raisins down her primarily for taste. Likes peaches in a feeder bag for a snack, gums a rice cracker. Dinner is usually veges and a bit of custard to finish. Yum.

Gotta empty dishwasher, put washing away, empty washing line, put up next load. Feel like a house hag... grump, grump, grump.
Had in laws for almost a week, then had to shoot over to tauranga to babysit sisters bubba while she took my car to go to doctor and physio. Sister has sprained a back muscle lifing her daughter in and out of her portacot and couldn't lift her for a couple of days. So me look after 'twin' girls (only 3 weeks between them) and one invalid. Only did it for a couple of days, and wow, those people who have bubbas close in age or twins, was i knackered.
also brothers partner has been labouring since 10 last night and at midday today was only 2 cm dilated ! So have been running around getting things ready for her too.
Sister and sis bubba might be coming to stay on saturday for the week, so will have opportunity to play mother to twins again. Wish me luck! and must stock up on coffee.

Rackhell, you have been busy! Caring for your baby neice as well at Cath, I can imagine how tiring that would be! That will nice if your sister comes to stay with you next week.
Catrad - how stink for you to find out TODAY that your DH is going to the V8's!! I would not be impressed at all and have a fit at my DH if he ever did that. Isn't it funny though, how they can organise these things - to go away - and not have thought about telling you, or even inviting you?!? If i wanted to go away, it would be a big deal and would have to let DH know and ask if it was ok!! MEN! I feel for you hun!

Cat, if Craig did that to me, I'd tell him not to bother coming back. That's just stinky of him. Go and get yourself some chocolate!
I'm tired now. It's getting quite cold here too.

Sorry to hear that dh is being thoughtless catrad. It's really busy out there, so i hope he got caught in traffic.
Managed to get caths formula. So if you're situated in hamilton and want S26 Gold stage 2 Progress, there's none at:
Rototuna New World
Rototuna Woolworrths (?)
Chartwell Foodtown
Te Rapa New World (i got the last one in stock just now).
Should go into the general section and have a rant. All three of these supermarkets have it on special, which is why there's none left anywhere in north hamilton.

hmmmmm well havnt been home yet im at mums just uploaded pics to facebook :) and have added pics to the photo thread theres 2 of the bathroom so far after demo day.
well looks as tho felton who make the taps and stuff are going to have to pay for either. . .
1- a big huge hole to be smashed in my hall so that they can get to the bit that broke off. and it to be fixed and replaced and then the wall to be fixed and re papered.
or
2- my gorgeous newly tiled walls to have the tiles smashed off so that they can get to it that way, and then re-gibed and re-tiled
hopefully ill at least be able to use the shower tho!!!!

Cat, I am sure Nick would be happy to re-tile at your plumbers expense! I think he really needs the money at the moment. He came round today for a big catch up, was nice to see my buddy again.

Morning girls
Yay it's Saturday and it's a beautiful day! Hmm, what shall we do? Dh is still asleep, but I've been up for half an hour and fed the kids breakfast.
Sparkle, my Dh has been saying the same to me about being one the laptop too much. He's asked that I stay off it in the evening so we can spend time together. Guess I can't argue with that huh . I think it's nice that he wants to spend time with me. Although last night he was watching the rugby, so I jumped on the laptop, but got engrossed in youtube and then he got the snots and turned the t.v. off (after the rugby of course) and stormed off to Rico's bed! So I turned the lap off and went and told him to come back to our bed.
Well he's up now, so will go and make us a coffee.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Its absolutely pouring with rain here, its as lousy as i feel.
I dont know why i even thought i could do this. Noone ever told me it was easy, but they never said it would be hard either. Sometimes i wish i could just have one day, one day where she didnt cry, or moan. One day i could just have to myself. One day where DF would actually get out of bed and get her up. One weekend where he wouldnt say hes going to work and not go that way i have to get up and he gets to lay in bed EVERY weekend.
Is it too hard to have just ONE week where everything doesnt go wrong?
I feel like im the worst mother in the world, i wonder to myself while im crying my eyes out because i cant do it anymore what life would have been like. What i would be doing now. How horrible is that!
I feel like getting up and screaming at DF to get off his ass and help me settle her. But where would that get me.
Sorry for the rant, iv just had a really bad week and its not going to stop.

Hugs Kandice, I am sorry you are finding things so cr*p at the moment. I wish I could come and take Kylah out so you can have some timeout. i have just had a friends 10month old for the day. He is waking 3+ times and night so I had him for the day so she could have some time out, she is never been away from him for more than 2 hours so it was a big thing for her. Her Dh is over the night waking but isn't doing anyhthing to help! Sometimes they need a slap!!
The fact that you care so much shows what a great mum that you are. Hang in there

I cant stop crying i just want it all to stop and have my happy baby back! DF is still in bed, even though im sitting on the couch crying, and walking around cleaning up and hes just watching me Why do things have to gt better, then turn to crap.
