Oooh, now that you've mentioned it Marengo, I see mines finally changed from a raspberry to a plum!
Loved the hotdogs for tea so much that I had another one for lunch today lol!! tea tonight is chicken schnitzel burgers... cant wait!
Oh and oddly enough, I'm STILL at my pre-preg weight... dont know HOW I've managed that since I'm taking the 'eating for two' rather literally this time, unlike last 2 times where I couldnt keep anything down, yet I gained more??? Wonder if its cos I'm grazing rather than eating large meals, plus I've been having dinner a lot earlier than suual... oh and going off chocolate may have helped a bit haha My tummy is def bigger, so wonder where the weight shifted from?
ewww weetbix I cant stand that stuff, preg or not!

Im starting to get rather uncomfortable in all my jeans as well. But no bump as of yet so to early for maternity stuff.
Oh Candybear, let me know what you thought of grease. Im going tomorrow (sunday) after a long night shift, so hopefully I will make it through without falling asleep.
Arg.....really feeling sick at the thought of going to work again tonight. I just want to curl up in bed. Hardly got any sleep today after last nights shift so might try and get a few hours now before I go.
Evening ladies. Hope all your weekends are going well.

I had my midwife appt yesterday and went well. Although I've put on 7kg!! I'm sure about 4kgs of it has gone onto my boobs!!! DP's constantly making fun of my boobs (they were DD to start with so I'm not looking forward to see the end result!). She was good anyway - couldn't hear a heartbeat but she didn't really expect to so I'm not worried.
Got the form to book in for my 12 week scan so will get on to that this week. Can't wait to see how bubs is growing!
I've had cravings for sugar (sign of a girl if old wives' tales are to be believed!) but it's been making me nauseous so I've had to eat other things. fruit's OK which is good.
Anyway hope you're all having a good weekend.

I cant stand weetbix thats swimming in milk. Mine has to be just wet enough to become a pasty texture (I crush it before I put the milk in) and really quite sweet.
My mum used to make me weetbix with marge and marmite on it lol. I loved it when I was a kid, now I cant stand it.
I'm supposed to be making spag bol for dinner but I dont know if I can be bothered since I'm only cooking for myself, again. I really feel like some spaghetti and cheese toasties. Mmmmm... Is it bad that I'm tempted to have both? Lol.

Hehe all the food cravings/aversions are very interesting. Wonder if that means I'm having a boy, as I've gone off sweet things? If I had to guess at this very early stage I would probably say boy but we won't know for sure for months yet, will be fun to see if I start getting a more definite feeling about it as time goes on. Have any of you had a gut instinct (excuse the pun!) about what you were having?
Tried out my new prenatal yoga DVD this morning and man it was hard work even tho they weren't even doing anything too technical! I've been doing yoga for years so thought I was quite fit but obviously not!! They have three women doing it, the instructor is in her 1st trimester, then one each in 2nd and 3rd trimester who adjust the poses to suit how far along they are. The 3rd trimester woman must be only about a month away from being ready to pop! Hope I can keep doing it right up til the end as it really helps with flexibility and muscle tone, and they even have suggestions for poses to do while in labour which I'm going to try to remember!

Well with B I was a meat fiend... and had to have peanut butter, cheese and gherkin sandwhiches on a daily basis.... with Jae I loved choc milkshakes and fresh fruit... this time I am back to meat and pasta... so I'm going to stick with boy... at least theres a 50/50 chance I'm right lol!
Going to catch up one last time this afternoon with one of my besties who flies out to Australia next week to live Picking up B from his grandparents and then going out there for the afternoon (her oldest boy is B's best mate too) and since pregnancy has turnd me into THE biggest girls blouse out there... I can see myself being an absolute mess when it comes time to leave... Dont know WHY her hubby had to go and get a job out at the mines... egg!! And its not just over the ditch either, its wayyyy over in West Australia, and then another hours flight inland from Perth... I'll never see her again!

Was just outside in the beautiful sunshine getting a bit of vitamin D, and DH said (kiddingly) just 15 mins aye, and hello, 15 mins later it starts raining!!
It was so nice outside playing with the cat, so now she and I are snuggling on the couch.
I'm not too bad on the cravings front at the moment, although today I really wanted a pie, but not a crappy one, one that has got real meat in it, not just a gelatiny substance they pretend is meat. So went to Jesters, but was disappointed!
Is anyone else over keeping it a secret? At first I was super excited about being pregnant, and just wanted to tell everyone. Now I just can't be bothered trying to hide it. Like today when I was getting dressed and my muffin was hanging over the top of my jeans, I just wished everyone knew already so I could just relax and not try and find a way to hide it. Ah well, only 2 weeks to go!!

Before I got pregnant I had a gut feeling that this one's a girl, but now I'm not so sure. I'm quite liking sweet things in moderation, and I'm liking savory things too, like the spaghetti and cheese toasties I had for lunch lol. With my boy I was eating cheese, pickled onions and gherkins daily by this stage but now I look at them and really dont feel interested. I cant stand cheese and onion toasties either
I did feel an extreme urge to make some cupcakes today and now have cupcakes coming out my ears! Recipe says it makes 18, one batch made 31 and I made 2 batches. Oops I'm wondering if my neighbours want any lol.
Aww BK, it sucks when a really great friend moves away. My bestie moved to Hamilton earlier this year so I kind of know what you're going through. Not quite the same distance though... Hugs!!!!
RubyBaby, I know the feeling on not wanting to keep it secret any more. I want to tell everyone, but I still want to keep it on the down low just in case, so I'm torn lol. I'm kind of dreading telling my nana too since her reaction last time wasnt too favourable, but she came around. I'm just hoping that she hasnt gone back to "You're too young"

Hey,
BK sorry about your mate moving, thats really hard mine is moving next year and i'm gutted my family are in the Uk and she feels like a sister, its not Oz she is moving too but we won't see her often - big hugs, take it easy on yourself.
I'm a mix of sweet and sour, I am loving fruit and fruit juice, not keen on eating chocolate, liking lollies, like savoury things still and still struggling with cooking and eating food after 5pm.
I think boy cos i've got one, and also just cannot imagine it being a girl, would be happy either way, I would like a girl, then i would like two boys, really have trouble thinking of boys names though.

Brilee you have just made me giggle....jam and marmite?!!! really??!!!
lil_lease i must be having a boy then as i am obsessed with cheese and pickle toasties....having at least one a day at the moment...would be more if i wasn't worried about weight gain
Got dressed this morning and thought lordy so hopped on the scales...have only put on 2kgs so am not sure how my body can have changed shape so much...my boobs and belly seem huge today...must've been the toastie
Am being a bit less guarded about telling people...10 weeks today woooohoooo!
Looking forward to scan at 12 so i can tell all my friends who live overseas....you can tell by looking at me so not lying if people ask directly....
First midwife visit tomorrow afternoon....she seems really mumsie which i love....
todays obsession in NZ oranges....they are YUM! Off to scoff another to stop me from eyeing up the block of tasty cheese again

hi, just joining in! i am due march 13 with bubs #3 and living in hamilton. all good here, my ms seems to be around 4pm til i go to bed, but not as bad as it was with the other 2.
no major cravings here, but cheese on toast does make me feel better which worked with dd and not ds, so thinking perhaps girl? dd is desparate for a sister, she has started telling random strangers her mum has a baby in her tummy and its a girl!! the hazards of telling a 4 and a half year old about pregnancy!
good to join ya'll....

Welcome to OB zatona! It's quite addictive .You need to get yourself a ticker.
Interesting to hear about people's cravings. I've been totally put off food and don't think I have any cravings. I seem to be snacking on lots of fruit though. I think it's mostly because it doesn't have a strong scent.
I've told about 15 people that I'm UTD, but it's still largely a secret. We still haven't told my FIL which I feel abit bad about as my parent's know. It's just we know he'll blab to everyone and I'd rather wait until i get to 10 weeks.
Felt like most of yesterday but good today. I seem to alternate between the two.

Ohhhh cheese! Usually I can take it or leave it but I had to go out and buy a little block of Mainland Mild on Friday to keep at work so I could have crackers and cheese! Just as well we don't have a toastie maker at work or I'd be having those too. I used to be an Edam girl but now bring on the full fat
Hehe sorry can't commiserate with the keeping it secret thing - have told the entire world it seems like as I'm just so excited after waiting so long for this wee bean to be here. I couldn't have kept it secret from quite a few groups anyway, like Weight Watchers (not allowed to be on the programme while preggers) and my gym and yoga instructors who are already modifying some things for me just to be on the safe side.
And I'm so enjoying all the positive vibes and excitement around the whole thing, just hope our bean can tell it's so wanted and will stick around! I'm certainly feeling more pregnant every day and can't wait to see it again on the scan next week

Jay Grease was really good - did you like it? The whole audience was standing up dacning at the end which was quite hard core! I was feeling a bi t through the show but was still good!
Not really having many cravings here as all food is just eating to help myself feel better still lots of toast and fruit muffins and fruit. Have not cooked for over 3 weeks poor DH has had to do as after 5pm is my bad time to Fiona - no weight gain here yet but not surpising as I am eating less than usal - I dont think I have a bump but cant fit my jeans now - however I think that is the bloating more than anything else! MS does seem to be getting a little better though I am having patches where I feel normal or it may just been that I am so used to feeling sick that it seems normal???
I have to book my 12 week scan today just over 2.5 weeks away and cant wait - I have told some good friends and our parents but waiting until 14 weeks to tell everyone as my mum has a history of M/C at 12 weeks which kind of freaks me out (she had 5 m/c at 12 weeks and only my brother and me to show for it) I never truly appreciated what she went though until now that I am UTD myself, took her 3 years to get UTD the first time then all those m/c so sad for her!
I am not quite at the stage of letting myself get to excited but I am sure once I see bubs on the scan it will make it all real and I will start to let myself belive that it is actuallyhappening

hi everyone and congrats zatonz good to have you join us :)
aww i must be the only one not craving pickles! hehe... i do serioulsy love cheese right now though also.. but cause i really hate bread i just have to either have it by itself or with crackers ..
gosh i had a shocking day yesterday, couldnt keep anything down at all untill dinnertime when i ate pasta.. feeling much better today but sore sore stomach muscles from vomiting so much.. went to the supermarket and was sitting in the carpark evacuating my stomach (lucky i come prepared with containers lol) .. it was yucky :( so eating is not really helping sometimes..
i told my baby to stop making me feel quite so sick.. i'm 12 weeks on wed according to last measurements so should be on the downward slide of all this!
i might bump that appt list back to this page so that we can keep track of our appointments this coming week..
