Happy Birthday Cayley!!

Hope she's having a wonderful birthday and the kids aren't too hyper today!
Hope you managed to get a better night sleep last night too!

Dawn, yay for DH coming home. Gosh and heres me compliaing when mine is away just one night. Good boys getting their jabs - reminds me, Keira must have some 4 year old ones due. Will be interesting to see how she copes after seing Maddi get them so many times.

Hope everyone else is doing well! It is so quiet in here these days....

Had a good night last night, heaps of people didnt come which I was so relieved about. Ended up with a nice group (still almost 20 people) and it was a lot of fun. Didnt get to bed until about 1 so pretty knackered today.

Girls were good and slept right through until 8 this morning And have been pretty good today. DH is away in Palmy for the day so heres hoping the last few hours before bedtime go quickly.

Happy Birthday Cayley!

Sounds like you had a good night last night Christy. The cake looked so yum!

DH was supposed to be away Thurs - Tues this weekend but the weather turned to custard for diving up North so he instead he went to Taupo yesterday for some training dives. He's on his way back down now. yayy.

You know you're a 'dive widow' when he sleeps in the spare room so he won't catch your cold to ensure he can still go away

So yeah, I've had a cold since about Thursday evening. Other than the sinuses being quite sore it's all pretty good. Here's hoping the girls don't get it so we can actually make playgroup next week for a change

Evening all.

Party was great!  All the kids had a great time. Posted some pics on Face Book that were on my camera.  More still to come, including the cake!  Cayley was spoilt rotten!  Got 3 of those big Pams bags full of toys, clothes etc - and thats just the ones from the party - doesn't include our ones! Party was at the YMCA. A GREAT venue for alot of kids!  & no mess to clean up!

Girls were all trashed tonight! Cayley & Rebekah in bed at 6, out cold soon after! Jessica, 6.30!  Heading that way muself - Stuffed!

Welcome home Kylie!

Christy, we only got Cayley's jabs done in June.  Was much easier than I thought. Nurses had lunch box full of goodies provided by the Fit for School Checks.  We left it til then cause it coincided with Jessica's 15month + made the fit for school check easier as a bit older & understood more.

Anyway, off to bed now! Have a good night ladies!

Evening all

Did you miss me
Happy belated birthday to Cayley

Had a lovely time - despite Jackson getting very sick over there. Had a bit of a meltdown, there was only a nurse onsite and the closest doctor was a helicopter ($1500!) and a 50 min ride in a taxi. It was so hectic, I am no good with organising things in a panic. The travel insurance kept hanging up on me and all the while Jackson had a 39.2 temp and was barely moving. We had to pack all of our bags and wait for the insurance to fax the credit card details through. DH was adament jackson would be ok as was the nurse, but the travel insurance doctor said he should be seen. Meant an end to our holiday if we did go. In the end Jacks temp came down after a sponge down and plenty of fluids. Not very nice!!!! Every one on the island were so lovely and they even gave us a free day room so we could spend all day at the island on our last day, rather than checking out. Everyone would come and check on him, he got quite famous over there!

Janaya had a ball, she didnt want to leave! She made so many friends there and we hardly saw her. She was like an energizer battery.

Had a horrid boat ride back to the wharf, we were airborne and thrown all around the boat. I had to try and hold jackson as well as keep myself hooked onto something. I really thought we were going to just capsize!
AND we lost jacksons blanky on the last day, we gave him a similar coloured skivy today with a tag on it and he seemed to take it.We bought him a new blanky and hes slowly taking to it now. Argh!

Apart from those hiccups it was a super holiday. Pure bliss really!!! Just loved reading my book in a hammock and not having to worry about dinner or washing!
I went snorkelling and found nemo!

Yes very quiet on here these days.

Welcome home Kylie certainly looked like a lot of fun from the photos. Really want to go on holiday now.

Andrea - so how does it feel to have a big 5 year old and to make it more realistic having her first day of school today. I am dreading the day.

Not really a lot to report at the mo sleeping seems to be going well.

Off to get Liam's MMR jab tomorrow no looking forward to that but seen it has to be done I had better. I'll just wait for the unsettledness to start.

Ok I'm off to bed going to have an early one.

Oh Kylie I totally missed your post Sounds like fun, although poor Jackson! Glad hes better now though...?

Good luck with the Jabs tomorrow!

Nothing much to report here. Spent the day doing little jobs around the house and we finally have a blind in the kitchen (DH ran out of time to do the second one) and we finally hung up the girls swing. Had DH's family over for dinner which I guess was ok - had SIL and her exDH with all their kids. Gosh they are a handful.

Am absolutely exhausted - time to hit the hay.

Night all

How is Jackson doing Kylie?

Is that awkward Christy, having your SIL & her ex there at the same time?

Hope Liam's jabs go OK Dawn.

Not much to report here either ... ummm actually my mind is a total blank!

It wasnt too bad last night. I just becomes awkward when the one who doesnt currently have the kids just sits there and refuses to interact or look after the kids leaving it up to the other to try and control 3 crazy kids.
It was the first time we had all been together in a very long time.

Didn't have the best sleep last night, Maddi ended up in our bed

Feeling rather bla today - might make it a lazy day.

Morning!

Jackson is much better now thanks Daph.

Having a lazy day here too, got both a puppy and Linkan to toilet train
Think I will wait another week for Jacksons MMR. Not looking forward to it. Good luck Dawn!

Totally in love with our new puppy, we named her Ruby Shes such a beautiful girl, just hops up on our lap and lays there, giving us kisses and snuggling into us. We havent had an accident or any biting (touch wood!) I was prepared for a broken nights sleep but she slept through! As did Jackson.
We are now officially poor though

Ohh Ruby is so cute!! How exciting - how was she today?
Good luck with the TTing too.
I think Maddi is a while off TTing. This morning I caught her about to do her daily poo in the bath so I popped her on the toiley. Boy did she hate that and then 2 seconds after putting her back in the bath she goes

Had a pretty uneventful day here. Playgroup this morning and then this afternoon trying to get Maddi back to sleep after Keira woke her 5 minutes into her nap. I eventually gave up and let them run around outside (it was freezing!!)

Going out tonight, just waiting for DH to make some slice

Right better go help Maddi - she appears to have lost her pants and doesnt know where to find them (oh her face is priceless)

Ruby was great, so so cute! All the boys (Lucas, Linkan and Jackson) were bashing about with spatulas and pots and pans. Ruby came along and grabbed a spatula and ran off with it, tried to get in her cage but it was too wide. She tried over and over to get inside. Super cute!

Had an exhausting day, Jackson is really just a monster. All he does is climb on furniture, his latest thing is to just walk right off things, and because I watch him like a hawk im always there to catch him, he thinks its funny. If hes not climbing hes screaming and throwing wobblies. Terrible 2's early perhaps
Was really hard work with 3 boys plus the puppy wanting to join in on all the fun. Changed 8 pooey nappies today, 13 in all and also had plenty of doggy ones too. Argh!

Had an interview today with another potential child for care. Little 8mnth old girl. Shes got eyes just like Jackson! I finish up with lucas soon.

Daizy I think Jackson will be very far off TTing too. I cant believe maddi poos in the bath still! So funny.

We're definitely way off TTing too. Just the way I like it to be

Ruby is sooo cute Kaiz. I have dog envy

All is ok here I think. Eimear was quite sick last night so DH took her to After Hours. Ended up not getting back until 5am cos each doctor had to consult their senior as they couldn't find the reason for her temperature & vomiting. Eventually a Paed came to see her.
She was not a happy camper today either but we think that's down to tiredness and her body recovering from her vomiting spree.
Aoife slept 6:15 - 8:30 last night too! So they're definitely fighting something. Hopefully it's out of their system now and they'll be nice and chirpy tomorrow for the Nanny

Have a good night out Christy!

We went out for dinner and a movie last night, it was bliss. Went to see District 9 which was pretty good.

Evening ladies......wow it has been forever since I have been on here.

Nothing much to report. Had a nice time in Hamilton...Emma loved Cayley's birthday party.....we were real busy visiting people as well....was nice to only have to worry about Emma....Paige had a weekend with DH.....

Both the girls are over their ear infections and all healthy for the minute which is nice.

I think Paige is a while a way for TTing....it is not something I am thinking about at the moment with her.

Hows Eimear now Tishy? Hope she is better?
Movie sounds great eh!

I think Im going to have an early night tonight. Was up at 5am this morning and the dog as well as Jackson were up in the night. *YAWN*
DH isnt home till 11pm, its been chaos here this evening. Ruby left a lovely log on our bedroom rug, I didnt realise while I was vacuuming and managed to get it good with the head of the vacuum. Shes still cute though.

Nothing else happening really. Oh, today I asked Jackson where Janaya was and he said "Ja-Ja - Cool." Which must be "Janaya - School". Bless.

Where did you go out the other night Christy?

Awwwww! that's so sweet! I love how they are starting to put words together now.

Eimear is better now. She scared us yesterday because when she woke from her nap she was wobbly and her hands were blue. After a quick trip to the nurse/doctor we were reassured again. Apparently it was likely to do with dehydration from the vomiting the night before.
Why did they not give us a manual when they gave us the babies!

Anyway it's all looking good to go to Playgroup tomorrow. yayy!

Oh and Hammy peeps, looks like I'll be heading your way in Sept. I'm 80% certain. We might be going up Wed - Sun so might be driving up *shudder* I shall keep you informed

Oooh Yay, Ive got playgroup tommorow too! Its not as flash as the Monday Porse one but it'll do - Free food

Yes Im still waiting for my manual. What did the blue hands mean tishy? Dehydration? That would have scared me too! Im glad she is better now. Jackson was much like that the day or two after his high temp in Fiji. Then followed the days of diarhoea.

Off to bed shortly, took me almost 4 hours to clean the house (well, in between jumping on here doing absolutely nothing!)

I think so. Of course, by the time she got to the Nurses office she had perked up lots! lol!

Good work on cleaning the house. I wish I had that motivation.
