I know this is someone elses thread but please let me know of any good midwives in the lower hutt region. I am going to try Jeanette today and see if she is available but am open for suggestion!!

Eileen Leahy is great. I had her for my last 2 pregnancies. She has a lovely backup midwife partner too.

I had grace pillay for both of mine, shes so lovely, and she does acupuncture and home births too.

I met a lovely one today at the hospital - her name was Noelene - but not sure of her surname sorry.

She is open, friendly, caring and is most concerned about what you want and about you staying in control of your situation. I really liked her. I'm under an obs in the hutt but I hope Noelene is on duty when I have bubs.
