For those like me that hated it, was the reason you hated it was because of the constant bleeding?? I'm going to see my dr on Friday to discuss again my progestrone levels and maybe going on a higher dosage on the mini pill ( 2 pills a day) to maybe help my levels increase and hopefully stop the bleeding. |

I hated it because I didn't get my period at all which was cool for a while until I kept getting paranoid that I was pregnant again.

i haven't been on the pill for 4.5yrs and i'm hating being on it again!! i can only take the mini pill because of blood clotting issues and for the first 2wks taking it, i bled...then 2wks after i stopped my period was due but didn't arrive..then 10days ago bleeding started again and stopped 5days later...i'm due for my period again in a week so will see what happens.
i've only been on the pill for almost 2mths and i hate it!! DH is getting the snip asap!

Yip I hated mine because of the bleeding. Apart from that it was great but really hard to remember to take it at the same time. I also got really bad pregnancy paranoia

same here, I didn't realise you may not bleed on it, big panic when Fay was about 4 months old and I had just started treatment for PND.
Also I am not that good at doing things on regular basis so the fact you had to take it within such a small time frame terrified me, i set an alarm on my cell phne so i wouldn't forget. I like my combined pill now, had been on it for 17 years before we TTC

Yeah I went on it for a very short time and had to have a high dose for a period of time to stabilise my uterine wall and stop spotting. Everything settled down after that but I stopped as I don't like taking medicines unless I had to. We've just used natural family planning (we threw caution to the wind last month otherwise would've avoided BD at the time). Natural methods work well for us. I get migraines and all sorts from hormones so I stay well clear.

It can take a while for the unterus to settle down when you start a new pill.
I'm probably too fertile for the natural method now to ;)

Wow you guys have had problems with it. I only got pregs on mine - never had any weird bleeding etc O.o I think we'll just stick to the good old fashioned condoms and if i get pregnant again after this one - then I get pregnant :P
