for 5 days at the beginning of July, for work. So instead of pining away, I'm going to enjoy myself!

Just wondering what ideas you have? My boarder bro will also be out of town so I'll probably have the kids in tow most of the time. I thought we might arrange an afternoon tea with a friend who also girls my girls' ages, and we might do some baking together like fruit jelly. And then last night I was thinking, wouldn't it be fun to have a (big) girls' night, put my girls to bed and have some friends over for fondue? and a movie?

What have you been hanging out to do? Give me some ideas (I need all the distraction I can get )

I am home alone (well me and Hannah) on Friday and Saturday nights (hubby is going away for a rally ) so I would like some ideas too.

I am thinking about eating stuff that he doesnt like (mmm, nice creamy cheesy pasta) and maybe getting some DVDs.

a big girls night sounds fab with some girly dvds and chipsndip mmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe a day at the park or a day window shopping

My DP used to go away regularly, I used to catch up on all the girlie flicks I hadn't seen. Go to the pool for a swim and treat myself to spa or sauna. Cook and eat all the stuff DP doesn't like. And usually eat far to much chocolate. Have you thought about spending a day with the girls making welcome home cards for DH.

Put the girls to bed and make one night all about you! Have a bath, shave your legs etc, and then put your pj's on and watch girlie movies! Eat lots of chocolate and have a nice glass of your fave alcohol!

MIne is going away this weekend....kinda yippeee cause he is annoying me at moment...and kinda sad cause i miss him (a little) and then also have to deal with baby on my own....not much different really tho!!

I usually have a bath, watch girly movies, or spend a lot of time catching up with my girlfriends.
