after watching 2 of my friends get married and complain about how they were too tired at the end of the night to even have 'relations' i thought...stuff that!!
throughout our wedding planning i said to dean 'if anyone wants to talk to me, they come see me'. apart from the ones that had travelled and hadn't seen for ages of course. needless to say, i got absolutely blotto and had a great time!   so much so that jack was born 9mths later

Theres quite a few honeymoon babies on here - mine included!

Lena, its your wedding, do it your way! You gotta be strong and in the end the parents and in-laws will still have a great time!

Yeah - I just know that the MIL is a PERFECTIONIST in every sense of the word so not looking forward to that - she organised the SIL wedding virtually... BUt as you said Aimee its my day "and i can do what I want tooo") lol

Lena, I didnt discuss much of my wedding with parents or IL's, just went ahead and organised everything - much easier!! Are they paying for much of it?

My dad is picking up the alcohol bill - Mum will prob just put money towards dress / give us money for honeymoon or something.
Davids mum and dad put $3000 each towards SIL's wedding and his dad said that he will give us some money but not expecting anything from the IL side.

and we are going to be about 3 hours from our parents (both sets) so I can do what I want!!
