she was lying under the computer table and i grabbed her to pull her out and as i started to pull her out she started screaming... when i klooked i have put a small shallow hole in her head where i scraped it against a screw that we didnt even know was there.

thankfully only superficial and no bleeding but i never want to hear my baby scream like that again (although i know that at somestage i will)

no hair wash until its scabbed over....im such a stupid mummy

You're not a mean mummy Kazzle. These things happen with little ones and she would have forgotten all about it before you know it Hope you feel better soon.

I've done tons of stuff to my kids Kazzle! I believe we had a thread called "worst mother of the year". Rhiannon won't remember a thing!

Kazzle I'm sure you're a WONDERFUL mummy, and like everyone else said, these things happen. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Once I was around at my friends place and I accidently shut their little boys finger in the ranch slider. Oh my gosh I felt sooooooo bad I actually cried! I couldn't help it, the tears just came out - I was so embarrased! But they were really nice about it, and there was no harm done - just a bit of a shock. But I felt soooooo bad! So you're not alone , but remember it's really not a big deal

Awww, Kaz -     I'm sure Rhiannon will be over it already, so don't beat yourself up about it!  Must've been a shock, but she'll be OK.

Oh Kaz it's alright! Like Liz said, we had a Worst Mother of the Year thread for a while, because we've all been there!

I know you feel rotton now but Rhiannon will not remember and you will be pulling her out from under the computer desk again sooner than you realise!

Whoopsy! I did something similar when Elle was little. I was taking off her suit, one of those ones that buttons under the crotch and the domes scraped along her head. I'm not sure who cried more! I guess we are bound to do something to make them cry at somestage but it is still upsetting!

hehe I am forever thankful that children have short memories... the amount of times I have almost killed Hannah I can't count on one hand... maybe even two.

And there was the one day I dropped her out of the car and she blamed the curb for hurting her... that was an easy get-out-of-jail-free card.

Hope it heals fast xox

Its ok we all do it!

My little girl was standing up playing on the couch which I know was a bad idea but I was sitting right there, anyway she fell over the edge hit her head on the floor with a thud and then lay there not a sound came out of her. I was so upset thinking that she was dead that I was screaming then all of a sudden she let out a scream of her own.

I have never felt so bad!
