I'm happy wherever it is. I figure it makes the most sense to go where most of the people are - whether that be Auckland or lower north island...

If it ends up in Auckland, could some of the cash strapped lower north island mums drive up together? I'd be more than happy to have someone else drive up with me. And if we all stayed at someones house that would make it cheaper too.

I like the idea of a mass birthday party Liz - mainly cos then I dont have to organise anything here!

Its my birthday around that time as well so it will be one big party.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

If it is in Auckland, I don't mind picking someone up allong the way - someone who can preferably drive my car in auckland traffic- very very nervous.

Auckland is so not that bad. Although it does help to know where you are going and not be on the motorway/main roads at rush hour.

I love driving in Auckland. But i'm not allowed to go there this year. The first year in a long time that I won't be making a trip up there.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
